Food Lion — Local services in Charlotte

It's ok. They had what I needed. No employee interaction. The store was pretty clean, stocked, and organized. Self check out was working great.

7/26/22..... completely no Dorito Nacho Taco Shells, so I'm trying out the Hint of Lime Taco Shells.

10/17/22....I was able to get everything I wanted on this trip, except for pringles sour cream & onion chips. Had a friendly conversation with a cool guy who was sticking the shelves.

3/20/23.....Nothing has changed they had everything that needed except Natural Bliss Coffee Mate Vanilla. I noticed that they have installed an electronic brake on the front wheel of the shopping carts. The wheel will lock up if you go beyond the immediate parking lot. It is a shame that they have to do this to keep folks from taking the carts beyond the parking lot.

6/29/23....Nothing has changed. I was able to get everything I was looking for on this trip. The vidalia onions were a little soft. Natural Bliss Coffee Mate Vanilla flavor and Hillshire Farms Keilbaska Pork Sausage were low in quantity. It was not crowded, but there were people all over throughout the store. I used self check out because the cashier check out lines were too long.

6/23/25 On this visit, there were no single red onions, only the bags. There were no single red bell peppers. This is my least favorite Food Lion. I had to go to the one located at...

I purchased some formula on Friday and than on Sunday I realized it was the wrong kind when I went to open it for my daughter . So I tried to return it to store and Associate Meg or whatever his title was Kel told me I couldn’t return as baby formula just like cigarettes which we know are not the same. He told me it was nothing he could do and I was not asking for refund I was only trying exchange for the right formula for my daughter. I than called Food Lion right up street and the Mgr ready the policy and you can make even exchange which is all I wanted to do. So I let young lady know at customer service that this was something that could do but I know she had have Mgr approval. But team leads, Mgr or whatever title you hold please make sure you know your policy. I had to drive 15mins up the road to exchange my formula which could been done at the store I...

I don't like to shop at this food lion, because the workers are rude, the old workers that have worked their for a long time are rude, and some are nasty. I went their just to pick up a few things, I asked Mr Gilbert about the the peppers where he was standing in front of, and he said don't know about them little things. Wow your a produce person i see u in front of them stacking them and u tell me u know nothing about these small peppers. This is what i mean he was rude he act like i was bothering him. And that's why i dont shop at that food lion. I will travel miles to go to a food lion that the people treat you with respect, it's all about respecting the custom, because we are the one's who buy the products, and if we didn't you would not have a job or...
