This was a really nice clean and fairly new facility. This is not your old fashioned hometown feel Dairy Queen of the 80's. You have been forwarned. I went to this location because the Baskin and Robbins slash Dunkin Donuts no longer served ice cream đ Weird. Anywho, this was the closest place to get custom served ice cream. Besides this being adjacent to a gas station it was very nice. More of a condensed half of a restaurant. And it made me feel like I was in a super fast food place but it didnât have to be. The servers were professional but not courteous. They were on time but did not smile, did not say thank you, I did not say come back again. I wasnât familiar with the menu I just wanted ice cream, they had a lot of specialty ice cream creams so I chose the heat brownie concoction. It only took a few minutes for them to get it together after the front counter server yelled at her cook/ice cream preparer whereâs my ice cream. The next thing I knew the ice cream was sitting in the window and I said is that mine the only answer I got was from another customer saying that looked good. I picked it up and it was warm from the hot caramel and chocolate and thatâs really all I could see in a dollop of ice cream to on top. I picked it up and I didnât see any pecans or candy and I asked if I could have some, I was told it was in the middle of the chocolate. Not what I was used to it it was it was just a sprinkle. I asked for more because I was obliged. When I got to my vehicle I took a tab of it it was pretty good But the more that I ate it all it was was a cup of chocolate a cup of caramel she pecans just a sprinkle of candy and hardly any ice cream which shouldâve been the showstopper and the reason that I visited the store. Maybe thatâs the way it comes so I wonât be back to any Dairy Queen to get any ice cream. I will look for Coldstone or Baskin Robbins that specializes...
   Read moreI used to come here often and always had a pleasant experience, the second to last time I came I was informed they were under new management and I didn't recognize anyone there. This time was my last time here. I get to drive thru and apparently it is no longer customary to greet a customer, it was basically demanded of me to order right then and there. When I did, I was questioned about what I had ordered.. I explained two times that I was reading right off their menu. When I got to the window I explained further what the menu outside said versus what she was insisting was correct. Without any response, she rolled her eyes at me, closed the window and so I drove off. This visit occurred around 945P on July 14th in case management would like to refer to the exact rude child who lost what I'm sure is not the first, nor the last, good paying customer. I do not believe in just writing negative posts just to complain. I firmly believe that there should still exist a standard in food & hospitality, the same standard I was raised on and the same standards I met and exceeded in all food & hospitality establishments I worked in. Ordered online, went through drive thru to pick up my order, got handed one blizzard of my three item order and was told have a good night, when I told the lady I still had items missing, she walked off and said "I'm not figuring that out I'm going home".. second lady comes the window, showed her my receipt, proceeds to make me another ice cream that was wrong and hands me a bag of fries... I ordered cheese cruds. Told her I did not order peanuts on the ice cream, she then takes the ice cream back and just scrapes the peanuts off! What if I was a customer allergic to peanuts and she just scraped them off the top and handed the ice cream back to me?!? Absolutely not, during the whole interaction she had a nasty attitude like I was the one inconveniencing her, I'm sorry but had you taken the time to look at my receipt and got it right the first time we wouldn't have had that situation.
