Dollar General — Local services in Chattahoochee County

Went there tonight because I forgot something at Walmart when I was in Columbus. There were still people in the store or I wouldn’t of stopped as it was 5 or 6 minutes before they closed. I pulled in and got out of my car and the boy working locked the door in my face. I’ve worked in the food and retail industries so I know how frustrating it is for people to walk in at the last minute, but I also know that you have a closing time and the door shouldn’t be locked before then. I needed ONE thing and could’ve been in and out of there before closing time. This is the only store in the area besides the gas stations so it was really frustrating. I go in there all the time and have spent hundreds of dollars in there, and honestly it was extremely rude...

Always have boxes in the way. I have had to move things around just to get to one thing. It is a pain. It is hard to find things because they reareange stuff too often. Things aren't always labeled, so I end up having to walk around the whole store to find stuff. Some employees are helpful, some are a little rude. One employee that was at the register was on her phone the whole time she was ringing up my stuff. She didn't greet me or even speak to me. I even tried saying hello and everything. It would be one thing if it was a store call, but she was on her cell phone talkong about personal things. I gave three stars because I know that it isn't always this way. I felt like she...

There was a fatal accident just down the street and they directing us Trekkers to the gas and go next door to the Dollar General

I stopped in at the Dollar General to stock up on some supplies and some right here and the manager was just so polite and helpful.
