Most of the folks here are rude. The prices are way too high! Some items you can get a deal on, mainly cloths. A lot of prices are higher than everywhere else. They didn't want to sell the items I bought at the sticker price. They kept scanning items with a small device and telling me that it was marked wrong. Then they said I could have the items for the marked price. After which, checking my receipt in the car, they still charged more, slightly. When I originally asked about price discrepancies, there was clear agitation! I literally bought three packs of straws. I know it's small amounts but one pack was different and a little more in price. No problem. The other two packs were shorter and cheaper. She just told the cashier a higher price for all three and, literally, chucked them all in the bag. When I stated the price was different, she became visibly agitated! There was no deal to be had here. My wife and I will not be returning. That's okay, because they will more than likely be out of business in...
Read moreThis place is a complete dumpster fire. I wouldn’t walk back in if you paid me, and there’s one very obvious reason: a certain employee. She’s a short, chubby woman in her 50s (maybe 60s) with blondish hair and glasses, and apparently, her hobby is making life hell for everyone around her.
I've personally watched her scream at employees, calling them “stupid,” “worthless,” and “lazy.” She’s just as vile to customers, making it painfully obvious she doesn't want to be there. But the most disturbing thing I witnessed? Yesterday, she told an employee that she had ordered another employee to leave a raccoon trapped in a trash can. Who does that? That’s not just rude, that’s cruelty. (Yes, I reported it to the proper authorities.) Before leaving, I asked the girl for the nightmare woman's name. Lisa Edward Matthews.
This store was already barely worth a stop, but Lisa turns it into a horror show. If management thinks this is acceptable behavior, then the entire place deserves...
Read moreI cannot express how utterly underwhelming this place is. The prices are not discounted from average retail and certainly not on par with online pricing. Mostly just Walmart clearance items that even Walmart couldn't unload. A lamp on the shelf with a broken neck and no shade was $97. Sure originally it was retail $195 but really? It's broken and retail is like car sticker price. The prices seem inflated then reduced to give the illusion of "discount". I saw Walmart bath mats on the shelf that said "their price" and it was like 8.95, then "our price" and it was 11.99 or something. So more than the Walmart price. Just one example. No one pays that. I don't understand how this place stays in business. Every person I saw leave in the short time we were there, left...
