M-57 Surplus — Local services in Chesaning Township

This is a very cool store that has most of everything from large amounts of craft supplies, dishes & big fuzzy blankets, tons & tons of fishing equipment, clothes, tools, rope of all kinds sizes length thickness & colors, even thick stylish winter hats to mini buckets. Everything you could ever need, they most likely have it or something close. They had mini leather straps with buckles last time I was there looking for something to attach my pans to hooks with. These were such a cool find. I couldn't find the style of hook I needed but buckle 2 straps together and wallah I have secure buckled unique loops to slip onto my hooks. Brilliant and so stylish looking. They're real leather so they will last a long long time .. the solid buckle allowed me to adjust each to the size they needed. I never would have thought of this idea, if I hadn't stumbled apon them at an end cap. Absolutely Nothing is over priced .. huge selection of everything you could think of & more. Staff is always extremely friendly and helpful. I absolutely love this store .. the 2 craft iles are huge and they have every color of duck tape you can think of. If you're looking for something odd or simple .. check here first!!! I call it the handy store instead of hardware store. This place has above and beyond only hardware. One of the few stores I make excuses to go visit. From power tools to arts and crafts stuff, and everything in between. Some products aren't "cheaper" than the competition (they sell Rust-Oleum spray paint for about the same price as Meijer, as one example), but most of the time you're saving a few bucks compared to a big store, to boot.

M 57 Surplus is one of those places you walk into thinking you’ll grab one thing and end up leaving with ten. They’ve got everything you don’t even know you need—and plenty of the stuff you know you do. Great variety, fair prices, and always something new to discover.
