Eagle Loan — Local services in Chesapeake

Do not recommend. My husband and I were looking to get a loan through this company, and we're approved. Awesome! We had to email in documents to someone named Tabitha, both of us did so, and said we would be down close to closing to sign on the loan. On the way there was an accident on one of the major highways nearby, causing traffic to back up. My husband called to explain what was going on, that we were literally a mile away stuck and traffic. Tabitha said we never emailed the documents or set up a time, despite having timestamps on the emails and her verifying the email address we sent things to. She then responded by saying their system had already been shut down for the day, and there was nothing she could do.

Bottom line, the employees are liars and lazy. She couldn't even be bothered to check her email after specifically asking us to email our documents to her. We chose another, online-based company to go through instead of supporting a local business as a result of...

I’ve been meaning to get around to this review for awhile now and I kept telling myself no matter how busy you are make sure you do that review. So happy im finally getting around to it. I was recommended to eagle loan by my mother and my sister and im so happy I used their services. When I called the lady on the phone was very nice and answered all my questions. When I arrived they were all very sweet and treated my daughter so well giving give coloring books and helping her play on the toys. All 3 ladies were extremely sweet and welcoming. About a week later when they sent my thank you card they even mentioned to tell my daughter hi and how they had fun playing with her and even sent her stickers. After a long day of trying to get my credit union of 15 years to help get me a small personal loan for my upcoming trip to Disney with my sons marching band only to be told no, I googled loan companies that work with bad or no credit and came across Eagle Loan Company.
