Easily seen from road with ample parking for wheelchair assistance as well as entry. Well-stocked store with easley shopped aisles as there's no clutter to shop around. Reasonably priced merchandise and safe environment. Public restrooms on site with express lanes for easy in and out. Masks are no longer required nor are temperature checks. Friendly and knowledgeable staff with a great rewards program. Unfortunately it seems like every time I go there something on my list is out of stock that I always buy. The last time it was Rotisserie Chicken, that they had on sale and should never run out of and Sea Pac's frozen Jumbo Coconut Shrimp this time they were out of A&W Root Beer and Sea Pac's Egg Rolls, I wish they'd get their act together and not run out of something that's always on my permanent shopping list. Someone must have gotten wise and started stocking items that they've been running out of as the last three times I've went in I'm happy to say they had everything I needed. They possibly add a change in employees.
Just within the last couple weeks they've reset the entire store which is confusing but they do this so the customers have to shop the whole store in hopes of buying more stuff. All the products that were over by and in the pharmacy have now been put into the center of the store along with changing where everything is on every aisle. Even the meat department has changed things up from one end to the other. As of right now and for the next couple weeks I was told the deli department is closed other than the things you can buy out of their case but don't expect to buy any prepared foods like they're rotisserie chicken.
Upon my visit to the store this time they got in their new floor in and the store looks absolutely fabulous. I've tried several things out of there new product line in their deli department and everything just been delicious they really kicked it up a notch. I no longer see the need to go into Rock Hill to my friendly Publix or Harris Teeters as my Food Lion gives me as good selection and quality. The only thing they're missing is their Bakery kicking it up a notch to compete with Publix if they just had an in-store Fresh Bakery. They've now gotten their new ceiling in and this store is a real...
Read moreAI shut me down. My wife and I are both in our 70s and both disabled. It is extremely difficult to get into town to shop. Wednesday I had almost finished scanning everything when one frozen dinner scanned twice. I had four of the same item so the next one I skipped. AI didn't like that and called for the attendant who looked at the number of dinners I had and the number showing on the screen and told me to continue. I tried to continue but it shut me down anyway. I have been shopping and Food Lion since it was Food King in Charlotte but I refuse to ever enter another Food Lion again. Food Lion is FIRED and so is everyone who uses AI with these mistakes in programming. Also, many items in this store are beyond the...
Read moreThis place is fine and I would rather go here than Walmart unless it’s for something specific that they just don’t have. I don’t really have a good reason aside from nostalgia, but I wish it were still Bi-Lo (and wish even more that Movie Gallery was still there beside it with that awesome man that used to work there with the mutton chops & deep voice), but hey, I’m glad the building still exists, and I can remember all the quarter machines that used to be up front with the big fake jewel rings and various kid toys and even when they used to sell real Venus fly trap plants! The employees have always been friendly...
