ETA: a very angry "man" named Jon decided it was appropriate to call screaming about my review. Jon also appears to either a lying or memory problem in addition to anger, as he wrongly claimed what we ordered was “not what I wrote down.” Perhaps switch to a more organized system or someone with more knowledge/experience on orders. I'd think you wouldn't be so defensive if you were in the right. What an embarrassing way to behaving when you're promoting a business. I'd have considered taking my reviews down had I gotten a partial refund, replacement, or apology. I'll also be filing a fraud charge with the bank

I am shocked that this establishment has anymore than 1 star reviews. My family just spent thousands of dollars on funeral flowers and got completely different flowers than what were ordered. Not sure how a florist is unclear on the difference between a rose and a carnation, perhaps he needs more training, but a carnation is cheaper. If you cannot get roses as a FLORIST, perhaps go to another provisioner. The flowers were wilted and sad by the viewing, and still had to get to the church and burial. All of our guests commented on how disappointing and cheap the flowers they purchased looked for how much they were overcharged. This was a huge stress and burden on an already horrendous experience. I will be filing an add'l complaint w/ the BBB. I called Chesterfield Florist for the first time since moving to the area 3 years ago. I wanted something special for my wife’s 65th birthday. The only instructions I gave were “no carnations and no baby’s breath”. I also needed it to be delivered before noon on her birthday so she would be sure to be home to receive the flowers. Chesterfield Florist did not disappoint! A MAGNIFICENT bouquet arranged in a glass vase was at our front door at 11:00am. Most importantly, my wife was thrilled with the flower selection and the way it was arranged. Given past negative experiences with florists over the years, we were especially pleased with the excellent customer service and BEAUTIFUL flowers in an EXQUISITE arrangement provided by Chesterfield. I will certainly give them my business going forward and highly recommend them to everyone needing to send extra special flowers to mark an important birthday milestone or occasion. P.S. The flower arrangements made by Chesterfield Floral Co. were exactly what I wanted for our August wedding. It would be small and I didn’t want anything too extravagant, but I also wanted lots of summer colors. Jon understood my vision, listing all the beautiful flowers that would go with the two flowers we requested: sunflower and gerbera daisy. The bouquets that arrived on our wedding day were beyond expectation! So colorful, freshly cut, tied simply with a ribbon, and labeled. They arrived in vases, too, which made it very easy to keep nice for days after. The boutonnieres matched our bouquets, and the corsages for our mothers were lovely. So many compliments!
