The staff was a mixed review the younger man helping was all about making sure I got something I would enjoy. The older guy straight told me that cutting a filet mignon for me was not worth his time. The cryovac filets they sold me were the greyest I think the could legally sell. The filets were not edible due to a weird taste from 2 of our party of four. The ribeyes were fatty and grisly, and for $30 a pound I was expecting something awesome. They come with great reviews yet when you walk in they have 4 steaks in the case? Went there on 5/24/21 after being on a wild hunt for a butcher in the Poconos that was open on Monday's.

The two gentleman were very helpful and despite my many questions they made sure I was getting the right cut of meat and that I knew how to treat it. Their meat made for the BEST filet Mignon shish kebabs I have EVER eaten.

They also make artisanal charcuterie from what I could see, and had some super special thick cut bacon that a previous customer was raving about, who was also picking up a special ground meat order he requested to be made with specific cuts of meat.

Eric was extremely friendly and helpful , my first time going was after hours so I was kinda worried until I remembered the woman that answered the phone told me that a gentleman will go to the shop after hours for me . He was very nice to talk to . He treated me like a friend and not just a customer. He was very knowledgeable about pricing and what his favorite cuts were and gave recommendations.
