USU Cafe — Local services in Chevy Chase

The food is mediocre and over priced... grits are either to watery with tons of butter or too thick and oat meal is mushy and the price is ridiculous, have to pay for hot water/ water... naked smoothie drinks are over $4, have to pay for butter and cream cheese when buying bagels etc... daily special are at times overloaded with vegetables then the actually meat... for example chicken stir fry, prices...

From online advertising, I expected a small cafe that offered coffee and sandwiches. Instead, I found a cafeteria just like the one I could have eaten at in the main hospital at Walter Reed. Coffee was standard and the bagel was only fair... Toasted it myself and chose from a selection of cream cheese mini-tubs. I will not walk across base...
