We've patronized Jurassic Fireworks for the last few years, but we won't ever return after today's experience. My uncle and I both received a text message stating their mortars were 65% off AND Buy 1 Get 2 Free. We put 3 in our cart each with the same price of $150, however when we got to the counter the gal refused to give us the posted discounted price and told us "Sorry, we changed our prices and everything has been so hectic we have not changed the signs yet." She even knew there was someone promoting this sale at the door, and still refused to give us the Buy 1 Get 2. I even tried purchasing only one, and she again refused to give it for the listed price of $150, and instead tried to sell it to me for "retail price" at $350. Wow, what an absolute lie, despite what the text said, and what the signs posted inside stated. They had multiple people stocking shelves so there was no reason signage shouldn't have been changed, and honestly don't send out text messages for promotions that aren't real. We drive several hours to patronize Jurassic, but after this ordeal we will be taking our business elsewhere after this...
Read moreSelection of fireworks was pretty good. Would not go back however as they falsely advertise. I went in on July 4th and there were signs all over that said 65% off everything. Their outside LED signs on the building said the same thing. However that's not what they actually did. They took 40% off the original price, then took 25% off the new subtotal. Which is not actually 65% off. (Ex. 65% off from $100 would be total cost $35. But with their method taking 40% off first your new subtotal is $60, then taking 25% off that your total is now $45). And when people are spending hundreds of dollars that's a huge difference. My subtotal of $583.89 with 65% off should behave been discounted by $379.53 to a total of $204.36. Instead with their trick method the total was $262.75 before tax. Maybe they don't actually know this, as many people don't understand percentages, but maybe they do. Either way if anyone was there shopping on July 4th or any other day they were running this promo you probably were not getting what...
Read moreI usually love coming here every year because they always have such great deals, this year it seemed as though they had an even better deal of buy 1 get 2 5” fireworks for free AND 65% off the ENTIRE STORE which sounds amazing! Wrong! With the deals they ALWAYS have going on the price usually ranges between 100-150$ for some fireworks but the “retail price” is always above $200 closer to $300, but since they always have “deals” almost completely year around every single day that they are open, the prices closer to $100 are technically their retail price. With that being said, they’re charging $298 for 1 box of fireworks to get 2 for free which is basically the same as buying 2 to 3 of them anyways! Don’t let them scam you with their deals. I drove all the way there 2 hours for this deal which is not at all made clear on their website or via text messages, just to be honestly...
