Gary Howard Seafood — Local services in Chincoteague

I've heard such good things about this place and have even had their crabs before and they were great. Today, I ordered a half bushel based off the price that was posted online. When I went to pick them up, they were almost double the cost that was posted online!!! If you are new to Chincoteague or Gary Howard's ask about the prices before ordering because the online menu is inaccurate. All that was said to me when I said, online it says, xyz... The girl was unapologetic and said "Well, that's wrong." I told her "I'll pass" and walked out the door. Won't be back. That's poor business. You can't surprise...

Absolutely horrible place to go I ordered a half bushel of jumbo crabs when I picked them up I paid first and then they gave me my crabs. When I got out to my truck I looked at them and I was very upset the crabs they tried to sell me wasn't even number two Crabs show the staff to crabs. And they quickly gave me my money back after a short argument the one girl that worked there follow me out to my truck and still proceeded to argue with me said I was banned from the property all because I ordered jumbo crabs and they tried to sell me crabs that shouldn't even came out...

Ordered 1 dozen (12) number 1 Jimmy's. Was only given 7 number 2 crabs. What a rip off. Also the girl at the counter had no clue what she was doing and apparently doesn't know the amount that equals a dozen. Also she has zero customer service skills. I used to only buy from this market. No longer the case. Update: nothing has changed. Family ordered a bunch of shrimp and it was so overcooked it couldn't even be peeled. Tons of new people working, unable to answer any questions about seafood. This is why I don't understand why my family even deals...
