Lavish Locks Hair Extensions — Local services in Citrus Park

I’ve been going to this salon for about a year and a half, and this last visit was by far the worst experience I’ve ever had. I normally got weft extensions from Amanda, but this time I switched to keratin extensions. They acted nice and friendly this entire time but in the end I realized things weren’t as honest as I expected. I felt completely gaslit, and now I’m left with bald spots. My hair is painful, damaged, and nothing like what I expected.

I told them for weeks how uncomfortable and painful my head was, but my concerns were dismissed. They kept saying “looping” was normal and, maybe sometimes it is, but not this much. I finally had the extensions removed by another licensed stylist, who confirmed the damage to my scalp. Now I have bald spots and have already spent hundreds more trying to repair the harm this salon caused.

I asked for a refund for the hair and application, especially since I only had these extensions in for one month, but was told I had to return the hair and brush. The hair had already been thrown out because they were painful and unusable. I’m not sure why they would want me to return these items, unless it was for reuse, which is concerning to think about.

After being a loyal client for over a year, I’m beyond disappointed. This salon caused me pain, visible damage, and then refused to take responsibility.

I got charged $1300 for fusion application and got charged for a 3 hour hair removal when it took 2 hours. Jordon increased her price day of without any warning by 40%, and didn’t make it clear when she quoted me what I was being charged for nd tried to deny I had 150 dollars left over on my account when I knew I did. She Complained when I used multiple card payments which is unprofessional when I am paying a $10 card fee for every $300 I spend and complained that my payment method was time consuming after I drove four hours to the appointment. Then she told me she wasn’t making money from me being there and it’s simply just to keep the lights on and would rather be doing other things I thought my shade was darker than expected,I asked to Compare my hair to the physical shade examples they have at the salon she refused . When i said I wanted to go somewhere else for the application because I couldn’t agree with her new made up prices she refused to provide me with my 600 great lengths hair credit that I had saying it was non transferable. She charged me full price for my hair extensions when she got them on sale and didnt tell me until i asked to exchange my hair extensions. My experience today was just negative and i feel like she puts money over relationships with her clients. I don’t leave many reviews however, this place and all of their amazing staff deserve a huge Thank you and genuine shout out. I heard about Lavish Locks from a co-worker and started following them on Instagram for about a month before I finally took the plunge and went in for my consultation. It was important to me that they understood how important the overall integrity of my hair was to me and I saw that once I started to watch how they treated their other clients. When I went into my consultation I met with Jordan and her Mom and instantly fell comfortable as all of my questions were thoroughly answered. My biggest concern was my wedding ceremony in the Maldives exactly two weeks after getting a hair topper and two hand tied wefts as I knew I would be in the Indian Ocean along with hot tub and pool time. Amanda completed my install from start to finish and taught me EXACTLY how to care for my new investment and properly protect them while on my elopement/honeymoon. Today, as I leave this exotic country and head back to the states 4 weeks after my hair addition installation my hair still looks INCREDIBLE!
