ALDI — Local services in City of Batavia

Leaving two stars because of a concerning trend I'm seeing in customer service with your employees. Yes, there are many great products at affordable prices, but lately over several months, if I ask an employee about something that is not out of stock on the shelves, they always say if it's not on the shelf it's out of stock and never look in the back. Ironically, they are constantly restocking their shelves from inventory from the back room. Everyone sees them doing this whenever they shop. However, if you ask about a product, there is no way that that I see you restocking a, b, c, d, e, f, ect ect on the shelves, but it just so happens that the grocery item I asked for is yes of course out of stock and there's none in the back!?! Laughable and common sense says that they just do not want to spend the time to find your product cuz they're so busy restocking boxes and box full of items while you're talking to them but of course none of the boxes in the back would be the item you're inquiring about. And as I see all the reviews I've noticed that management doesn't respond to any of the negative comments, so I'm not expecting a response here, but please tell your employees to stop telling everyone that if it's not on the shelf it's out of stock when they're always furiously restocking a plethora of groceries..... Where they cannot possibly know without looking, and knowing every last item they have on their cart as well as in the back, that your item that you're asking about is definitely out of stock. Every other grocery store I've dealt with does not give you this answer constantly and actually checks in the back, and often comes up with the item you're...

Let's face it grocery shopping is usually not all that gratifying, but shopping at this Aldi's location is actually, dare I say, "fun"! First thing you notice is that the store is set up with unusually and refreshingly wide isles that are easy to navigate! The store is clean, well stocked, items are at an easily accessible height, and the glass front coolers are a newer version that make the modern edge atmosphere feel that much more appealing. I am always drawn into the unique frozen items they offer and it truly helps keep our family meal menus interesting. It never fails that I try new unfamiliar products that look really appealing; for such a good price point being offered here how can you resist! If you a cheese enthusiast I still haven't tried all the wonderful varieties of product lines they showcase.And last but not least, they also offer an isle of a wide selection of random merchandise from everything from home decor to gadgets at discounted prices that make you go " hmm..I don't know if I need that but I WANT it"! Like I originally stated I think you'll enjoy shopping at this...

I love Aldis so much but even thought it's illegal for them to not accept cash in NYS, they don't accept cash at their self registers so you will be forced to wait a long time behind ppl if you bring cash to just grab a few items. I had to stand a while and I got dizzy cause I have an illness. Normally I use the wheelchair on a bad day but I was forced to go to the store alone today and I don't have the hand dexterity to push myself always. Other than this, the store is great and one of my faves. ♡ The staff are always super nice. The prices are unbeatable ofc. The quality of ingredients is so much better than all the other...
