I called today 5/16/2025 about trying to surrender a dog that was dropped off at my mom’s house and the owner couldn’t come get it. My mother is incapable of taking care of the dog long term and needs to surrender. The woman that answered was so beyond rude it’s disgusting. Telling me in the future don’t take someone’s dog and you won’t have this problem. She got mad when I told her my mom doesn’t need a lesson in ethics. She asked to put her on a list. When I didn’t know what kind of dog it is because it’s a mix of who knows how many breeds, she got huffy even though I gave her the best possible description. Under 2, 40ish lbs, white body, black ears. Gave her mom’s name and #. She wanted to know who dropped the dog off. It wasn’t my info to give out and I told her that. Boy did she flip her $hit. Well we aren’t going to help you and called me belligerent. I asked for her supervisor and the name and number of the dog warden and told her her attitude was horrible. She acted appalled that her attitude was called out and hung up. I called back got a new employee and asked the name of the woman who I’d just spoken with as I intended on making a formal complaint. She was just as rude and inappropriate, refused to give hers or the other woman’s name. I will be making a complaint. If this is how you treat people who come for help you should not be in a job where help is the key factor of the position. Honestly it’s on par with the rest of Fulton county, absolutely a waste...

My boyfriend I went yesterday to try to look at a puppy we saw online. We were met at the door by a very rude woman who acted like we were at her house and shouldn’t be there “can I help you...?” We asked about a dog we’d seen online and she said he’d already been adopted, so I asked if we could come in and look at the other dogs. Her response was “we recommended you look at the website and find a dog you’d like to visit with”, which I had done, but he’d already been adopted. I was like okay, well I guess never mind then? Done with DOG RESCUE I have a 6 ft high fence and a big yard. 2 good dogs all up to date (hwt seresto collars)and me home alot. 20+ years in the vet field 2 times they rejected me. A loving home in a country setting. These things are NO good for a puppy. Thank you rescues all those years telling people to GO RESCUE. Don't go breeders or pet stores. Well now I know why people don't go to rescue or spca because you can't get a dog from them. Unless you lie. SO LIE or go breeder
