Udderly Delicious — Restaurant in City of Johnstown

Warning: for the past couple years now the chocolate milkshakes are not made with chocolate ice cream. They make all their chocolate milkshakes with vanilla ice cream then add a squirt of chocolate syrup to trick the customer. And what's even worse than that, they will lie directly to your face. I have asked multiple times for them to make it with chocolate ice cream and specified "not vanilla with chocolate syrup" and they will agree then still give you the vanilla crap. Used to be loyal to this place but not anymore.

Edit: After seeing their reply I want to make it very very clear. I specifically ask for CHOCOLATE ICE CREAM EACH TIME. I ask for a chocolate Oreo milkshake and then wait until she is done writing that down to specify PLEASE MAKE IT WITH CHOCOLATE ICE CREAM. I also tell them that if it's going to be made with vanilla i don't want it. They will tell you that is fine, then still hand you a vanilla like it's not two totally different ice cream flavors. I am very specific because before they started doing this, I thought their Oreo milkshakes were the best thing in the world. I keep going back there and getting screwed because I think "maybe I'll get one worker who actually gives a shit". In the last 10 milkshakes I've bought, I've been unable to get chocolate ice cream, no matter how much I ask for it. Once they take your money it's over. I wanted to take my husband to Udderly Delicious with our dog on Father's Day for ice cream. My husband asked for a vanilla baby CONE for our dog. The girl asked do you want a dish. My husband said I want a CONE but you can give me a empty dish on the side. The girl came back with a baby cone IN a dish. They don't listen to what you ask for. When he told her he didn't want it she said well you will have to throw it out, I can't take it back. Then she said if you want a baby CONE you will have to pay again. Your prices are the highest in the area and she wanted him to pay TWICE for a baby cone. Total of $3.50. That is unheard of. She could have just disposed of HER mistake and got him what he asked for in the 1st place. She ruined out ice cream outing for Father's Day. She just wanted to argue with my husband instead of keep the line moving and give him what he paid for. Very unhappy. Will not come bad. We bring out dog there on an average of once a week for ice cream. We will not be coming again thanks to that employee that needed to make a point instead of taking care of...

Service was very good. Portions are very large so make sure you can stomach all that cream. About the only thing i can say that needs change is shade, its great that they offer seating areas but the sun will bake you and melt your ice cream really fast, ask for cups or your ice cream will run down your hand. The Pistachio flavored ice cream I found rather bland, I tasted the coconut and that was pretty good. Coffee ice cream could use more coffee it seems they just use a coffee syrup to drizzle around the cone and cream so its basically just a vanilla ice cream.
