John is a top notch guy! I never knew how much my grip was “off” before seeing john and having him look at it. I’ve been using the same grip for about 13 years and never changed it or had anyone take a look at it. Only after meeting John did I realize that my “thumb” which I thought fit fine, has never fit correctly. Now my grip is a lot more comfortable and relaxed and fits like it should. John as drilled a couple balls for me last year and one for me this year. He could’ve just went off of the information from last years drilling and said come back next week and I’ll have the ball done for you but instead he went through the whole process again with me and tweaked my grip ever so slightly which made a world of difference. I thought my grip couldn’t get any better but it did! He also stayed till well past closing, drilled the ball for me right then and there, then watched me throw the ball for a game to make sure I was happy or that he didn’t see anything that was off. Highly recommend this guy right here, he is 100% transparent with his customers, will answer any questions you have, tell you what he’s doing and why he’s doing it, and won’t stop “tweaking” until you are completely satisfied. John and I began corresponding on social media over the summer. I have purchased some pro shop tools from him and they all arrived as described. I decided to take it a step further and visit his pro shop on my return home from Syracuse. In between customers and talking about my bowling history, we worked on my fit and drew up new pitches and spans. Because I'm a newb when it comes to drilling balls and bench work, John gave me some tips on how to make my work look more professional. I decided to drill a test ball to try out the new fit, along with a thumb slug (Never drilled one before). John talked me through the entire process at 11 o'clock at night, and stayed on the phone with me until I was finished (who does that?).

I took my first bowling ball in over the weekend to get fitted and drilled, John was very professional, knowledgeable, and friendly, we talk about each step of the process, which to me I loved, because I love to learn about new things. We then spent some time on a lane, John helped me with my approach, steps and stance, an lots of other helpful tips. I've been practicing my 'Right, Left, Right, Left, and Release" all night! Lol.
