Rye Golf Club, established in 1921 and located in Rye, New York, is a municipally owned private club renowned for its historic Devereux Emmet-designed 18-hole golf course. The club occupies 126 acres of the former George C. Park and Allen estates, offering stunning views of Long Island Sound. Its centerpiece is Whitby Castle, a Gothic Revival stone building constructed between 1852 and 1854 by architect Alexander Jackson Davis, originally intended as a private residence for the Chapman family. The club's amenities include a full-service golf shop, professional staff, teaching and practice areas, multiple swimming pools, and dining options at Whitby Castle.
