The Jay Heritage Center is a great nonprofit organization that helps preserves the Jay Estate, a U.S. National Historic Landmark District Contributing Property, and the ancestral home of John Jay, one of our nation’s founding fathers and the 1st Chief Justice Of The United States Of America. In September of 2018, I brought and treated myself and my wife for a visit at the Jay Heritage Center, whom own and operate the Peter Augustus Jay House and the Van Norden Carriage House. During our visit, we took part in a wonderful guided tour of the Jay Mansion, aka the Peter Augustus Jay House and learned much about John Jay’s upbringing, his ancestral home, his highly successful political career and his impact on America’s development. If you enjoy learning about America’s history and our nation’s founders, then we highly recommend a visit to the Jay Heritage Center!!!

This is the most well hidden natural beauty in Westchester. Went there with my family last week. Off Boston Post Road with parking facilities. And the most friendliest guide who will explain the trekking path and things you can do. You walk upto the island/Long Island sound through a varied landscape of forest and meadows and then you can walk back to the JJ residence where you can sit in the porch and enjoy the view. To top it off there are two beautiful flower gardens maintained entirely by volunteers from the community. Pack your sandwiches and plan to spend 3 hours right in the heart of Mamaroneck.....you will...
