"Disappointed that many of the fresh flowers were wilted in less than a day after delivery. Didn't receive part of the order as requested.
Addition: The above are the comments I made when posting the original review. The comments below are in response to your reply.
"I recently received notification of your reply from Google regarding my brief review and 2 star rating. After reading your reply, I wish to provide thoughtful clarification.
(In the order of your reply...) First: Dish garden container - I have no recall of making a request to you or of any offer by you to replace the dish garden, even when you told me to bring it back. I felt this would only be for you to continue to insist that the container is ceramic, not plastic. (This item was not in your shop when I was there, so I asked if you had personally seen it before delivery. I believe that you initially said you had not, especially when I described the odd, oversized shape and color. But later, you indicated that you had seen it.) Although we disagree as to the dish garden container material, it was not my primary reason for contacting you, bringing me to the next item in your reply. Second: Fresh flowers - I personally came to your shop to explain what I needed the fresh flowers for and especially to discuss the specific time period the flowers needed to be fresh (an afternoon/evening and the following morning from 9-11 a.m.) You assured me that would be no problem. At no time did you state anything to the contrary; that vials would dry out overnight, etc. That morning I had to pick out many dying, wilted stems from the dish garden and the floral arrangement, as well. Thus, my initial review comment that I "didnt receive part of my order as requested." During the first minutes of our after-the-fact phone call, I proposed a simple replacement of a few live flowers that I could pick up at some future point. You agreed to this resolution which I appreciated (but will not pursue.) This did not negate, however, the fact that I was "Disappointed" with the wilted flowers in the original order. Third: Credit card determination - It is true that the credit card company found the request for partial refund "in your favor." To clarify: the company acknowledged that they did not send the paperwork that I needed to complete after I initially contacted them. After finally receiving the paperwork, I contacted them again because I did not have "documentation" that was required - itemized receipts/bill of sale listing the components of each item purchased, in detail. There was no breakdown of the purchases made i.e., fresh floral arrangement, dish garden contents or container, number and types of fresh flowers for dish garden, delivery fees, plus a small figurine (@ $9.99, I believe.) I had only the total charge on a small slip. Therefore, "your favor." (Please note: I posted the review prior to knowing the outcome of this decision. The review was not financially motivated.) Fourth: Guests - After reaching you when we spoke by phone, I indicated that I was getting ready for brunch guests at my home. As our telephone and subsequent text conversations drew on, I reiterated that I needed to finish preparing for my guests and after some time, they arrived. So, yes, I had to greet them and serve the meal. Finally: Posting - you are certainly most welcome to post our full conversations if you wish. I only ask that, out of respect, please delete the name of the person that my guests and I were honoring. ...
Read moreI scheduled a meeting with her about doing flowers for my wedding and drove an hour to her shop and she wasn’t there with a sign on the door that said she had went home for the day. Clearly she had forgotten about our meeting. I called her and she said yes she had forgotten and I waited on the porch until she arrived. My mom was with me and she had also driven over an hour for the appointment. During the meeting I said I would like a cascading bouquet not a tussie bouquet. We brought pictures to the meeting so there would be clarity. On the day of my wedding I arrived at the church and my bouquet was a tussie. Everyone in my bridal party was surprised to see how wilted and dead the flowers looked so I ripped out as much flowers as I could to make them look better. I work for a small women owned business and I would never...
Read moreWOW!!! What a wonderful shop and BEAUTIFUL arrangements. I called Donna’s last minute on the start of Mothers Day weekend and asked if there was any way they could fit in a delivery that day to my Mother at work in Clarksburg for Nurses Week and Mothers Day (which i know is such a busy time). Without any hesitation they thankfully told me they could and delivered her the most beautiful bouquet of flowers just a FEW HOURS LATER!! And even personalized it with a coffee cup, for my coffee loving mother! She was so surprised, and I was so pleased with my order!! I am so happy with my order, and experience, I will definitely be a returning customer. Thank you guys again for helping a procrastinating daughter make her well deserving...
