What's it like? If you're looking for the familiar local card shop experience, this is the spot. It's so refreshing for Clarksville to have cardshop that actually feels community oriented and staffed with people who love the hobby. Nowhere else in town comes close, especially in trade-in value.
Family Environment? The store is super kid friendly, I can't even remember a time I walked into a card shop to see kids crawling around the card cases. There's so much to look at, like.. Pokemon, Magic:TG, Disney Lorcana, One Piece, Star Wars, League of Legends, Yu-Gi-Oh, Gundam and a decent selection of Sports cards.
What's on the Shelves? Lots of booster pack hangers, boxsets, and collectables. If you're sick of checking the big box stores and finding nothing, this store always has inventory. Including booster boxes, lot's of booster boxes. I'm constantly seeing new series and products up on the shelves as well, most of which you won't find on the webstore. So be sure to stop in from time to time to see what's new. If you're looking for graded cards they have those too and offer to handle your submissions to PSA.
What's Going On? Events, lots of events. Almost everyday of the week. You'll also be likely find a food truck outside from time to time. The store has been expanded as well, so there's plenty of room to throw cardboard or bring out a board-game. I've also heard talk of tabletop RPG.. Dungeons & Dragons.. 40K anyone?
Community Presence? Be sure to check out their website, socials, discord, & YouTube often for updates!
Thoughts.. As a kid from the 80s/90s that grew up on trading cards who lives in a world where arcades don't exist anymore, it's good to see there's still some of us keeping the dream alive. Support your...
Read moreThey donât buy â sealed â products ( this is not even on a card release weekend đ ) but will sell them âsealedâ to you at 2-3x the mark up price. All old cards nothing here you wouldnât see cheaper online or another shops. Didnât see one vintage pre 2020 box. All new inventory that was boring. I even considered trades but Nope. They do neither on sealed product. All signs of money hungry desperate struggling new Crazy resale price type of playing card store. This will be the First and last time Iâll ever come to this place . Walked right at first site could tell the experience I was going to have. Very unfriendly experience , no type of life in this store.I Wasnât in the store for 1minute tops. I donât see this place lasting very long. Clarksville doesnât need another place like this. I give this place 6 months tops. Iâve never been treated like this from any of the other shops in Clarksville Nashville Murfreesboro or Kentucky . Stay away . And you can reply all you want explaining yourself ( owner ) under my comment and threaten legal action if you want to for giving an honest review. That will not change my opinion and Iâm not deleting anything. The word is already out and a few of the other shops agreed with me about my opinion ( as they bought my inventory no questions asked easy business) . Itâs funny you donât buy âsealed â but can order sealed from your distributor for under MSRP and still cancel peopleâs orders when the price jumps and relist it for higher mark up. I hope this review helps people to stay away from your store as you will reply multiple lies under...
Read moreHave to repost my review. I would not recommend this place. When I got back into Pokemon I was buying blooming waters for my niece and nephew. This âownerâ tried telling me $130 was a discount. It was not a discount it was scalper price or âmarketâ price due to scarcity manipulation. But either way not a discount. It was the same price as was on eBay. If you are elderly look up prices before buying. The msrp of blooming waters is $60 dollars.
Edit: I wanted to add some clarity since the owner responded. First, he says he canât find any purchases Iâve made but conveniently seems to remember our interaction (a distorted recollection) which is a weird contradiction. Second, I am not and have ever been a scalper/reseller. He has probably had a few bad interactions and is mistaking me for someone else. I have only interacted with this person over the phone and in online chat. Lastly leaving a review of my experience as a potential customer is not defamation. Ask yourself why a store owner would jump immediately to a threat of a lawsuit if my remarks werenât true? Threatening to sue someone over a negative review is unhinged and wrong. Be careful who you do business with. If you want a better deal than market they might...
