First, a little back story. My mother and I were so nervous about choosing a company to purchase our Kitchen cabinets from. I mean, I feel like we have all heard so many kitchen cabinet horror stories regarding other companies and weren't sure how to choose a reliable company. This is my mother and my first kitchen remodel. However, after meeting with Michele at The Cabinet Factory, we were blown away by how friendly and professional she as well as Mike and the rest of the team are.

We worked with Michele almost exclusively and she was was fabulous. She was so knowledgable, patient and friendly. She designed us a beautiful kitchen with white cabinets. She walked us through the design process in detail and was very patient with all of our continual changes to the design along the way ( and there were many).

Now, I was installing the kitchen and definitely could not have done it without all of Michele's guidance and tips. She even came out to the house to double check my measurements for me which was great. Also, this kitchen design was not easy because it involved the moving of an appliance and soffit. I can't thank Michele enough! I have and will continue to recommend The Cabinet Factory to any and everyone I come across who needs a new kitchen or bathroom vanity. They even made the ordering and the delivery of the cabinets a snap!

In addition, The Cabinet Factory was way less expensive (with better quality products) than any other cabinet store (or big box store) we had looked at and with a much better design as well! In the middle of a terrible customer experience at the cabinet place up the street, my partner fortunately googled nearby cabinet salespeople and found Cabinet Factory Claymont and their great reviews.

Joe immediately welcomed us in and asked about our project. After our previous experience down the street he was able to exceed our expectations just by being a normal person who would sell us some cabinets if we were interested, but on top of that he was very knowledgeable and kind. After showing us some cabinet styles he sat down with our design, made necessary adjustments and some great suggestions, and provided us with an estimate.

We followed up by email with some adjustments and questions and Joe gave us several estimates to help us make our decision. We decided to go with them for our kitchen project and so far have been very pleased.

We wanted to do an Ikea kitchen, but were very concerned about the current shipping time on many items. Our cabinets from Cabinet Factory shipped in less than two weeks, come fully assembled, and actually ended up costing less than Ikea at an equal or better quality. The care that Joe took to ensure our design would work in our space was very reassuring as well.

TAKE YOUR BUSINESS ESLEWHERE. I placed an order for about $11,000 worth of cabinets and was quoted 6 weeks for delivery, after a great few visits and thoroughly explanation of the quality they were selling, timing, and finishes, I was ready to place my order. They did give a discount off the original quoted price and I gave 50% deposit on the order.

Well 6 weeks come and of course I get that call telling me that they forgot part of my cabinets. They mentioned that they had forgot to order the one bathroom vanity cabinet! How do you forgot a whole vanity. So I was like well do I have to wait another 6 weeks for it to come in, and they had it expedited to 4 weeks.

So come 4 weeks later, I asked for a discount on that cabinet. Of Course I didn't receive anything except an apology. Take your cabinet business somewhere else, where the employees are more competent and actually double check their orders. I was very frustrated with this whole process with CF since my condo was raw space, and the contractors couldn't finish/plumb either bathroom, because they couldn't get the counter tops in without having both cabinets in.

Also, after all this I realized parts of the cabinets aren't even fully finished. Two parts of the kitchen cabinets and one side of the bathroom cabinets came unfinished. So I have to now pay extra to have...
