This is a great place to stay any time of the year. I stayed at the end of December and snowshoed in to get there. It was about 2.5 mikes but all flat. In the winter the cabin has no running water but there is electric and central heating plus a gas heater. They lock up the bathroom in winter so you have to use the pit toilet outside.
