I responded to Craigslist ad on 05 Chevy, I spoke to owner, clarifying NOTHING was mechanically wrong with it as I was driving 1 hr 30 min from MN to purchase, cash in hand. I was told only oil pressure gauge and AC did not work. I got there to find out it had been in an accident, front damage, gas tank held on by ratchet strap, oil pressure gauge not working, rpm gauge not working, check engine light on.

Was about to leave, noticed different truck that was not a 4 door that I came to purchase, but purchased the other one because I already invested so much time into it.

I called Jeff twice to ask questions about a vehicle and set up a time to look at it. I was told all glass was in good shape, vehicle didn’t leak oil, and it would be cleaned. He wouldn’t meet on the weekend so me and a relative took work off to meet during the week. It was over a 2 hour drive. We get there and the windshield had a huge crack and chip in it, truck was leaking oil, and it wasn’t even cleaned on the inside. Dog hair was all over. I was told the windshield would be on their cost but would only get $195 off. I know a Super Duty windshield would cost well over $400 to get replaced. Had my SUV for 4 months and motor out. 2009 suburban. I told him I could not afford a vehicle with issues. He assured me that he took this truck on a road trip and nothing was wrong with it. I drove it home and three days later we took a trip to Illinois to see my son in the Navy the oil pressure light came on, found out the tyrods or some odd stuff needed to fixed, the innerwalls of the tires were shot so that was $860.
