First I’ll start by saying that we shop here a lot. Multiple times a week & usually the staff is awesome and the place is tidy and clean. HOWEVER, tonight our experience was subpar and I had to share it.
I came in 3 days ago looking for some bug spray (bugs like making themselves at home in my home this time of the year) and purchased a brand that looked promising and even clearly said on the front “guaranteed to work or your money back” so I purchased it and proceeded to apply it at my house.
Well, unfortunately it did not work at all… I’m convinced it was a bad batch because it didn’t affect the bugs even when I directly sprayed them.
So I walked in tonight to return this product, and receive my money back. I stood around at the counter probably close to 10 mins… the other employees were busy helping other customers so I patiently waited for help. Finally one of the employees asked me if I had been helped yet and then proceeded to page the “supervisor” that was on duty.
KASSIE was her name. This poor excuse of a supervisor came out of the back (more than likely hiding from customers, playing on her phone & hiding from the harsh reality that she’s a 40 year old with a teenager job) she came out rude and put off like it was such a inconvenience to her that she actually had to get up and do her job.
I explained to her that I needed to return the bug spray that had a money back guarantee, and she refused. Very unfortunate. Probably was too much of an inconvenience to her to return it. I guess the customer isn’t always right…. Only when you’re not too lazy to do your...
Read moreI used to go here all the time. Honestly I stopped going after an embarrassing incident with a male cashier about a lesser known feminine hygiene product a year ago. We have a new Smith's Market Place down the street and I prefer to go there as the staff is nicer, the store is cleaner, and the selection is above and away superior. I have however shopped at the Winager's twice in the past two days. The cashier's seemed to be annoyed to wait on us each time, the store itself was dirty, the produce was old-wrinkled skins on apples, and they have a smoker out front with ZERO barrier around it that's actively smoking. My only thought with the last item on my list is a kid running up and putting their hand on it and getting a burn. (As my 5 year old nephew tried to do.) They don't have anyone watching the smoker either. In conclusion I was disgusted by the dirt and grime, scared for nephews safety, and felt like the staff didn't want us there in the first place. I'll be going to Smith's exclusively...
Read moreThis store is the WORST. The overpriced Produce is always old and rotting, they dont check it enough, Ive taken home slimy vegetables, and Ive seen meat completely gray in thier coolers. The staff is the laziest staff I've ever encountered in a grocery store. I had a carton of milk that was leaking (because of course we dont ever check our produce) so the MANAGER stops me to let me know, I took it back to get a different one, the manager follows me to the milk and after I set it down proceeds to grab it, very helpful. The kids at the registers (mostly the guys) act like its hard for them to take 5 steps to get to the self checkout kiosks to help with items. ive had one get annoyed i was buying beer, so he cops an attitude and tells me to bag my alcohol. Thats your job, ( thats why youre there)As well as helping customers which nobody seems to know how to do here. Everyone just stares at you, nobody greets you, its a very wierd...
