So unorganized, everyone gives a different answer, do not answer the phones ever. GOOD LUCK getting a return call or email from anyone but a professor. The offices do not answer the phone. The voicemails say to leave a voicemail and email. You do both and nothing. They all say it’s because they’re busy. However there isn’t a time it’s NOT like that. They constantly change the financial aid disbursement dates which I know have put several students in a mess that rely on that money. At the beginning of the year it took FIVE weeks to get my logins figured out and get some hold off my account for a meningitis vaccine when I’m already well past the age limit for that. Everyone I tried to login it blocked me. Nobody answered my calls or emails. Except the IT department but then it became an issue of the head people allowing me to and that was like pulling teeth. You only get decent help if you go up there and even then they’ll tell you something like, oh yeah well that is fixed but you’ll have to wait for that to process and come back again in a couple days to figure out the rest. I have kids and you can imagine it’s so much fun going up there rather than just getting on the phone and figuring stuff out! I visited the campus 11 times at the beginning of the year trying to figure out how to login so that I could start classes. It was an absolute mess. Jim already dreading sending my official transcripts to another college because I’m sure it’ll take...
Read moreI can't even imagine a less competent advising/admissions staff. First of all, someone made the decision to require students to enroll for classes in person, despite covid. No option to do it by phone or teleconference, which is inexcusable during a pandemic. Secondly, they allowed multiple counselors to take vacation during the weeks leading up to the enrollment deadline. The wait to speak to a counselor was 11 hours. Yes, you read that right - the wait was 11 hours!!! Arrived at 8 AM - with an appointment - to find the waiting room packed full of strangers who had no choice but to sit in close proximity to each other. So ironic considering this school prides itself on its health programs. Clearly there is nothing healthy about their ridiculous policies...
Read moreBiggest scam ever! Horrible communication! I am in my 30s trying to start school somewhere else but Hill College is holding my transcripts hostage for a balance that they cannot seem to explain why I have. So okay, I accept this and start an online payment plan, they don't explain properly how it works and all I ask is to change the payment date by a couple days because of my pay schedule. They refuse! And they refuse to defer it a month. And if the payment doesn’t go through then I have to pay extra fees until it comes out! And they refuse to cancel the plan, so I am trapped! I am severely disappointed in the communication. Had I known I would’ve NEVER signed up for this. Hill College is a scam. Parents DON’T SEND...
