"Clean" is not a word I would use to describe this place. Aside from the photos that I have provided that speak for themselves, the linens have stains, pillowcases are unevenly yellowed, shower curtains are stained and yellow and dont look like they are cleaned, towels look like they have been passed down through three generations. Its as if they are stingy with their laundry detergent and dont use bleach at all. Some rooms have hard flooring, some have carpet. Avoid the carpeted rooms at all cost, they smell very bad, like a musty lockeroom smell. On one of my stays here, I found a heavily soiled pair of undergarments behind my bed. This is the final breaking point that convinced me to stay somewhere else next time I am in town. As someone who has stayed here numerous times, it feels as if the quality of my stay here gets worse each time I come back. Customer service can be good, but depends on their mood. On one occasion the front desk employee accused me of keeping more people In my room than I claimed, which was completely false. On another occasion, I complained about the smell of the room and she told me "no one else has ever complained about the smell before" and tried handing me a bottle of air freshener before I insisted on another room. I dont look forward to having to stay here, it worries me. The only thing that brought me back was their reasonable pricing, but now even that isnt enough to earn my business. That says a lot because even my standards are relatively low. If you want to stay at a place that will get you sick, you should definitely stay here! I just wanted to share my horrible experience without even having stayed here. My husband had travelled from San Antonio to the area with our three children to stay in our camper and it had a malfunction so I went online and booked him a room under his name. I used my card and I can understand the problem with the names not matching. The night manager proceeded to REFUSE my husband the room we paid for and was adamant that he was someone she had a bad experience with two weeks prior yet we have not traveled recently and have never stayed in the area. I just wanted to say that the insane way she treated my husband in front of our three children was absolutely disgusting. Mind you it was 1030 at night and they had nowhere to go due to the higher hotel prices from the eclipse travel influx. She refused to even listen when I tried to speak with her over the phone and would not listen at all when I tried to tell her my husband is not whoever she thought he was as we have never been there. If 3.5 was an option that’s what I would give. As someone who travels a lot for work it is what I have come to expect. As you read reviews some overly positive and overly negative I can tell you my room had vinyl flooring clean bedding some reviews mention stains or “discoloration” I think this is the lighting the room is rather dim with only two lamps and a walk in light, but my all my bedding was clean furniture is what you’d expect for an “ Economy budget hotel” very basic furniture with mini fridge microwave coffee and a tv. The lobby does have a small odor to it my room did not, walls are thin but they are in almost any hotel. I checked in very late called the number and the host arrived very quickly to get me my card too my room very helpful big thumbs up and some things you hard working folk will appreciate when the room is serviced they don’t shut off the AC big win!
