I sent my mother in today to pay the interest on 4 items I have in pawn and asked her to pay a month on everything to bring everything current. I had a ticket due November 20th a ticket due November 27th and 2 tickets due Dec 6th. Well the lady charged her $44 for the two tickets that fell due in the 20th and 27th last month to make them due in January which would've been fine but then turned around and charged her on the other 2 tickets that make them due in February not January. When someone says they want to pay a month to bring everything current it doesn't mean charge them 2 months worth of interest, what if 8 came to get the stuff out before February and you've already charged me without me asking you to? I quickly located a 10” Craftsman in near-new condition for a mere $90, which is less than half the retail price for a new one. I was able to put it on layaway with only a $20 deposit, and picked it up the following month for the balance. I had a very disappointing experience at this pawn shop. I brought in a ring that I know is real and have had multiple people test and say it’s real, but the staff ( the red head ) immediately claimed it was fake. On top of that, the customer service was rude and dismissive, they acted like I was wasting their time. I would not recommend this place to anyone looking for honest evaluations or respectful treatment. I left from there after they offered me $150 for my ring and sold it for $1,050 same day.
