NailCafe — Local services in Cleveland

I got short, almond shaped acrylic nails done here on Nov. 15th. 2024 . I'm giving 2🌟's, because It was a very long wait time. With 1 person ahead of me. I arrived on time at 6:15pm and wasn't worked on till around 7pm. Granted, I did come in without an appointment, so that didn't bother me too much.

The nails came out beautiful (in my opinion), and to the length of my liking . The pricing of the set was out of this world and I left a decent tip because of it.

Both the women working there are sweet, easy to talk too and are great with conversation and friendly. I loved talking with them 😇 .

** What I didn't like so much, was that once I got home, most of my nails had an aching pain, because the hardener for the acrylic was bonded with the sides of my fingers . And I had to pry it away from my skin for relief. The hardening material are/is also on the undersides of some of my natural nails aswell (pictures #2 & #1) . And on one finger it was on the top part of my finger (picture #3 for reference)

On day 10 of wear (11/25/2024) , on my left hand(index finger) the acrylic nail began to lift in the middle part of my nail bed. Very painful. 2 other nails were lifiting as well . I went to Walgreens the same day after work, to get nail glue to secure it .

I tried calling to no avail and left a message via Instagram, as there was no option to leave a voicemail . The IG message was never looked at . I was hoping to have this resolved/fixed, but I'm stuck with them now.

If you're not a regular and you're new like me, I wouldn't recommend coming here .

I was in search for a new nail tech and came across Sandy on goggle. I read all the review and looked on her IG page. I was happy with what I saw and booked an appointment. The day of my appointment i was supposed to soak my nails off but life happened and I was unable to complete my soak off before my appointment. I explained this to her and I was willing to come back at a later time; however, Sandy did a soak off on the one hand and started on the other hand.
