Save A Lot — Local services in Cleveland

This store is terrible as far as their attitudes and if you send your children to their store they take advantage of them. They also have major mouse problem and you may get bread and chips that have been bitten through. Definitely keep all your receipts as they are majorly petty about in this inner city neighborhood. My most recent visit I was sold contaminated ice cream that had actual dirt in it. I was told that I could receive store credit and get something else but unfortunately that was not the case and they told me I had to get the same items that I previously had because I didn't have a receipt so I had to get more contaminated ice cream which we've thrown away. My suggestion is not to go to the Save-A-Lot as they have horrible practices and horrible attitudes especially if you are African-American. Spend your money somewhere else where you will receive excellent customer service, as this Save-A-Lot knows nothing about customer service especially the managers. Very uncivilized employees and customers; even the manager who worked this evening. Not a place to shop if you're new to the area unless you're used to people that have no manners. Very uncomfortable place to shop, plenty of racist comments, lies and gossip. Very unwelcoming environment to new comers. Other people are way too concerned about who you are, what you wear, how you talk what you're spending, how you're spending it and why you're there. There is no restrooms workable in store, that is hard for customers, has been going on for weeks, were do they the employees wash their hands. They have little to no regard for public sanitation and is a health hazard the city of Cleveland are not doing the job. If this was a white store in a mostly white Neighbourhood then this would not be going on. As much as we need the store in this neighbourhood, we don't need the germs.
