Hate them they took our dogs cause our neighbor calls police on us everytime we breath. Claimed my dog and her pups were too skinny and in the road. I kept my dogs inside except to go out to potty. There was only one pup small i was concerned about also, i wormed them all i even put him n a room by himself to feed him so the other pups couldn't take food from him. He still stayed skinny. I fed my dogs twice a day. The skinny pup may have needed more care then i could afford but he was Strong. Mama dog was very healthy and NOT skinny like that and they took her from us. She was nearly grown and we had her since she wasa little puppy, she was a comfort to us during a hard time in our life. She was like a child to us. We have lost too much and all they did is take them to make money online they sold for $175.00 a piece per pup and nama dog was $125.00. she was worth more too us. So yeah they broke our hearts and they wouldn't even let my small son keep the puppy he was attached to. He cryed harder then i r ever seen him cry. Weve lost enough we cant handle anymore loss. We are good loving people who fif NOT deserve this treatment from them or our nosey neighbors. We bother no one we keep to ourselves others n the community should do the same mind your own business. so me and my mom went by today just to see if they had any extra cat litter scoopers and maybe a flea collar but they was close we noticed a dog was chained up there and a note but we went on about are day then we start to notice a purple ford ranger following us we stopped a different location and even stopped and got out to try and talk to this man but never did anything just drove away and kept following well we got away from this unknown man come home and a hour later a officer shows up at our door asking if we left a dog chained up at the spca we told him and explained our story but that doesn’t give this person a right to follow us all the way to our home fearing for our lives people are crazy into todays age so who ever this worker was please don’t do that this isn’t right i’m sorry for the dog but it wasn’t us and we was just absolutely terrified of what could happen when being followed...

What they are doing for the animals earns them at least two stars.

The reason they do not get more than two is because of their staff. The staff is reluctant to answer questions and they are not very knowledgable about dogs and cats.

For a "no kill" shelter, their adoption prices are kind of high, but they are not as high as "The Ark of Cleveland" which ask near breeder fees for their animals.

Many of the dogs I have seen when I have visited are grown wild dogs that will not make good pets. What I mean by that is, the dogs appear to be the kind of dogs that were chained outside all their lives with very little human interaction.

If you plan on visiting, please leave your little kids at home. If they do not fear dogs already, chances are they will after leaving here. Many of the dogs will growl and show teeth to anyone that walks by. There are signs posted warning of the dogs that are...
