My son started there yesterday at 3pm. When he stopped responding to me at 11 pm I got a little worried. At midnight when I couldn't reach him I decided just to go to restaurant and wait on him in parking lot. When I got there there were no cars and I walked around building a few times trying to find an employee inside and saw none. After a few minutes I called 911 fearing the worst. when multiple officers responded we spotted someone in an orange shirt inside. the police knocked on doors and windows. She even looked at them and still did not come to door. Only after the officers used thier flashlights banging on window did she come to door. Police explained I had been here trying to find my son and worried something was wrong. She said she would get him and shut door and walked away . A few minutes later my son walks out sweating liking crazy and I am just glad he is Alive. Yet now we are at er because he was having a heat stroke a few moments after leaving kfc . He said they had no ac and he had spent past several hours from 10 pm to 1230 am scrubbing ovens by his self. I have worked in restaurants for 35 years and know how crazy some days can be. But never will it be okay that officers have to bang on windows to verify someone working there is alive and there is a need for 2 iv bags of fluid just to bring you back to a safe health. As there is more I am posting this info in hopes someone quickly checks to see what is happening in that store and saftey of employees. No mother should ever be crying her eyes out in a parking lot fearing the worst about their child only because whoever was in charge didn't want to be bothered. If I hadn't chose to go there and then involve police this could have...
Read moreOrdered online and the crew had no idea they even had an order until I showed up which was about 10 minutes after the pick up time.
One woman is asking the other three to help. Two other girls just ignore her and some slothful guy tries his best but is found lacking. He informs me that we can't get the Extra Crispy chicken we ordered. I ask why and he tells me the fryer is broken. I asked if that was just for the Extra Crispy and it dawns on him that they do have some Original Recipe in the warmer. He compromises and gives me drums instead of thighs so that was cool of him. Then he informs me that they don't have any Mac & Cheese so I settle on mashed potatoes and gravy...he forgot the gravy on both sides.
By this time the only person who is trying in the store has realized that we need some fries. Slothful manages to get the fryer working to get some fresh fries. While I'm waiting I have the time to notice that the store is a mess, especially the kitchen, which was surprising because I was the only customer in the place for 20+ minutes at this time.
By this time I'm beginning to believe that the fryer isn't broken at all, it's just an hour until closing time and God forbid we cook what the customer ordered.
I get home and the chicken on my chicken sandwich is basically fossilized. I really don't know or want to know how long this chicken had been sitting out before it transformed into inedible diamond toughness but it was terrible. At least my wife and kids put on a smile and didn't complain about the Orginal Recipe they had to settle for.
I really don't blame the employees for this disaster. This was a total lack of leadership in this store. At least we don't have any signs of food...
Read moreHands down the worst run fast food restaurant I’ve visited. Every time I have ever went through the drive thru, regardless of time or day, I have been asked to park and wait on my food. I use the app and order ahead specifically to avoid this wait and still end up waiting 10-15 minutes in a parking spot. I’d get it if they had a significant amount of menu items…but it’s fried chicken. On this visit we were asked to pull in a parking spot for two chicken sandwiches. There were already 4 people parked ahead of us, two of which were parked sideways across the parking spots available. The next car in line couldn’t get to the window so the blue-haired cashier starts running her mouth to that customer about having told my wife to park rather than pull up behind the car in front of us. We’re finally able to park in a spot after someone pulls off and then we get treated to overhearing the manager, I assume he’s a manager because looks like he’s in his 40s, telling the other car waiting a lovely story about giving his pug rides on his motorcycle while there are multiple cars waiting on food and several still in line to order. After another 10 minutes and a rotation of vape breaks by kfc employees in the parking lot, a new member of this circus comes out and asks us what we ordered, presents our food and jets back in side. We ordered plain sandwiches, and as you can probably guess, they weren’t plain. They forgot to leave the mayo off the sandwiches but they didn’t forget to bring their vapes to hit in front of customers while running food out to the multiple...
