Terrible experience unfortunately. Should have asked for a refund but I really wanted to see this movie.
Took my family to see Deadpool 3. I rarely want to go to the movies, I can usually wait but didn’t want to on this one. When this rarely happens we come to this theater because I like how the seating is, you aren’t crammed in together.
During the previews we all noticed everything sounded extremely too loud. In a way like a kid turned the treble and volume to 11, and also only tuned everything to go through only the center speaker which sounded like it was thousands of super powered tweeters. Some stuff was so screechingly unbearable we put our fingers in our ears. It was hurting my ears, and I regularly attend very loud concerts and events with no complaints. I probably have substantial hearing loss from my hobbies but this was still the loudest and most irritating thing I’ve ever experienced. Even my bad habits couldn’t save me.
I told myself I would go talk to someone if it continued but I didn’t want to miss any of the movie. That was very stupid of me. I have worked in manufacturing environments where earplugs are required for harmful levels of sound and this well exceeded it. By a lot. It was so much worse.
This was Deadpool 3, so when Wolverine and Deadpool were having sword and claw fights with each other it was akin to treble torture. Why didn’t someone at the theater fix this? Maybe everything is broken? It was terrible and left us all pretty disoriented after the movie. I will never go back it was the worst movie experience of my life.
I can’t overstate how loud and terrible the sound was. I am giving two stars because I was too stupid to leave because I really wanted to see the movie. If you want information out of a terrorist, sit them in the middle of theater #9 with Deadpool 3 playing. They will tell you everything and possibly convert to whatever religion you deem fit within minutes. Congratulations on replacing waterboarding. Inexcusable this place should be embarrassed. Won’t even mention concessions we got...
Read moreTypically this is our go to place. Ticket prices are good and snacks are priced okay. We usually ignore the pissy, angry or just plain rude employees but today has us done. We won’t come back. The employees today were definitely top notch when it comes to being rude or inconsiderate. Including today’s visit… rushing customers off from concessions, giving customers sideways compliments while laughing with other employees, another instance my younger son dropped his icee by the soda machines immediately after getting it, while we had to purchase another one we also were the ones to clean it all up, (with these tiny napkins by the soda machines) not a single employee came to assist they “all” just hung out and watched. I don’t know if it’s the age and they are just young but the level of disrespect and clear lack of desire to be working there is obvious. The level of disregard for customers that we’ve experienced is beyond what we usually brush off. We’ve had employees upset that we ordered fries at one visit, employees aggravated because our kids changed their minds on what they wanted (& trust me we’ve asked them hundreds of times even before getting there what they wanted) & still they change their minds at the counter. Welcome to parenthood. Needless to say we rather go to AMC from this point forward even with the not so comfy chairs because at least the staff there is kind and happy to be working. We usually come every Saturday as a family but this is not the place for us anymore. In my experience if I didn’t want or like a job I...
Read moreLove this place! Seats are awsome and so roomy. Prices are the cheapest around. Popcorn not great. They have recently changed things to assigned seating but so far I haven't seen a problem with the change other then I think it's completely unnecessary.
Edit: assigned seating is awful! Bought tickets 30 mins before a show all seats but upfront or very back were unavailable for our group of 3. go into the theater and no one really showed up until right when the movies started which was chaos and pain for the ones watching previews. Some ppl didn't even show up until the movie even started bec they didn't care and their seats where saved. Just rude. Went to see another movie bought tickets the day before so this wouldn't happen again. set in our seats forever until I went and found someone and asked why hasn't the movie started come to find out they had moved the movie to a different theater but our tickets that we had in our hand was still in the original Theatre so we were also 20 minutes late to the movie now and there was no good seats again. Luckily they moved us to later show that started 30mins later ( alot of waiting for 4 little kids). if it was for any other movie that started a later show it would have been at hour-and-a-half plus afterwards. Have no clue why they did this it's a pain just because I don't want to go online and pay extra money to book tickets early and still have that chance that something...
