Weigel's — Local services in Cleveland

Cleveland has just received a new gas station/convenience store that is going to up the game in this competitive market. Weigel’s new store at the corner of Georgetown Road (highway 60) and Seargent Paul Huff Parkway will establish a new higher standard. The first strong point is the location at the intersection of these two main arteries which are widely used for work and school commuting. Three schools within walking distance will assure busy parents needing fuel or food will have a convenient option. The traffic signal allows traffic from both directions to have safe access to the store. The fuel pumps have new large screens that facilitate the fueling and paying process. Merchandise in the store includes the expected packaged candies and snacks, OTC meds, and items needed by motorists. There is a proper beer cave with prices competitive with local grocery stores. I can testify the pizza and fresh pastries are quite good. The Weigel organization originated as a dairy in Knoxville back in the day when your milkman left the milk on the front porch. This local East Tennessee company has always had a reputation for quality, and their foray into convenience stores has also been very successful. They have finally made it south...

Started going to this new store not long after they opened and found they are the only store around with my favorite product which is a frozen caramel frappe. I go here daily to get 2 of those frappe's. I go to know and become friends with the ladies that work the evening shift there. 3 of them were my favorites and in the just the last week they have let 2 of my favorites go. I don't know how long my other 2 favorites will be there before they quit or get let go. I will continue to go there for now to see the 2 that are left but if or when both of them are gone I won't be going back to this store. Stores like this are all about the customer service and they had GREAT customer service and let them go for some reason. Really wish 1 of the other stores would get the frozen caramel frappe and I wouldn't go back and spend...
