El Santis Mexican Restaurant — Restaurant in Cleveland

I had high expectations for this place due to seeing the online advertisements on social media and somewhat good reviews/photos. First off we were taken to our seat by what seemed like the manager/hostess. He never greeted us and rushed to the table with our menus and didn’t say a word to us not a very friendly first impression. The waitress was nice but she didn’t seem to have knowledge of the menu yet and when our food arrived the food wasn’t what the menu said it was. We had to ask her to bring the food that was ordered. She never checked on us until she brought the check. Felt bad for everyone working there because everyone was doing everyone’s jobs. Our waitress was working at cleaning the dirty tables, bringing food, putting up clean dishes that are on the display by the tables. They must be short staffed which makes service lack sadly. Also they store the salsa in a container on the floor , which is in full view of where we were sitting going towards the kitchen. My steak was over cooked and beans and rice wasn’t fresh. Safe to say I will not be returning to this restaurant...

Absolutely love this place! The service is top notch, even when they are busy! Kudos to Jorge for having a great menu and a team around him that cares about their customers as much as the quality of the food! Diego (manager) is always the life of the party and will do everything to make sure that as a customer, you are happy! Jose, is an amazing assistant, server, bartender, conversationalist, and whatever else is needed when called upon. This is our local goto and we frequent Santis on a weekly basis. The food is amazing and if there is a special request they are quick to accommodate. The servers here always have a smile on their face and are very attentive to you! This is hands down the best Mexican Restaurant in the Cleveland TN area. Plus the Saturday Karaoke is an experience that...

The first time everything was good, the food was good...this second time it was a nasty experience I will try to summarize what happened, the famous “QUESO FRESCO” "fresh cheese" WAS EXPIRED because it was very acidic and since the dish had a lot of cheese It was impossible to eat. This means that they are giving some expired ingredients to people who do not know Mexican cheeses, I mean American people, and if that happened with an ingredient that can make you sick and cause death from food poisoning, I can't imagine how many people I would be eating without knowing those things in this restaurant, ask for a change of dish without cheese and I told them: please don't take it the wrong way. But apparently they didn't care, they did something much worse, and almost at the end of the meal I saw something strange on the plate like marks from cleaning rags and I saw a small hair on the edge of the plate. It is a restaurant that only decorates dishes but what it hides inside its kitchen is something unimaginable. Karaoke lasts for many hours without stopping and the worst thing is that it has very high volume. That makes a very stressful place.

la primera vez todo estuvo bien la comida...esta segunda vez fue una experiencia asquerosa voy a tratar de resumir lo que paso, el famoso"queso fresco" ESTABA VENCIDO porque estaba muy acido y como tenia mucho queso el plato fue imposible de comer. Esto quiere decir que le estan dando algunos ingredientes vencidos a la gente que no conoce los quesos mexicanos, me refiero a la gente americana, y si eso sucedio con un ingrediente que puede hacer enfermar y causar la muerte por intoxicacion no me quiero imaginar cuanta gente estara comiendo sin saber esas cosas en este resturante, pide un cambio de plato sin queso y les dije: porfavor no lo tomen a mal. Pero por lo visto no les importo hicieron algo mucho peor ya casi al finalizar la comida vi algo raro en el plato como marcas de trapos de limpiar y vi en la orilla del plato un pelo pequeño. Es un resturante de solo decoracion de platos pero lo que oculta adentro de su cocina es algo inimaginable. el kararoke dura muchas horas sin parar y lo pero que tiene el volumen muy alto. Eso hace un lugar...
