I have thought and thought about doing this review for the longest and tried not to. But after today, the last straw was drawn. I always thought highly of Clinton Appliance as their products are good and customer service was good. I don't understand what happened or what any explanation possible at this point is going to work. Before doing this review, I sent Mr. Dwight an email and called so many times to make this work right. I called on Dec. 16 and placed a work order for a GE washer I had purchased that was still under warranty; was not draining the water completely from my clothes at the end leaving clothes soaked. Technicians came out to my home the following afternoon, on Tuesday, and said they were ordering a "board" for the washer or something to that nature. Part should be in by that friday. That friday afternoon, as I had not received any call from them, I called. Spoke to someone in parts and service and was told that indeed-the part was ordered and that was all they could tell me. Being it was close to christmas, I waited and called on thursday and friday. Both occasions I was told I would get a call back and yet...I wouldn't get called back. The week of the 30th, I called AGAIN. This time I spoke to the manager of parts and service. He also told me that the part was ordered but had not came in from their vendor. I asked him politely to contact the vendor and verify that the part was ordered, mailed, shipped UPS, on backorder or etc. As a family of six, at this point having to go back and forth to a laundromat and spend money on cleaning clothes is a hassle. The manager called that afternoon and said he did speak with their vendor and that the part would arrive to them that friday 3rd or no later than that following monday. Guess what....no call no show yet! Yesterday the 14th, I got off work a little earlier instead of calling again. This time I spoke to the floor store manager and he promised to look into the situation and to call me back. He did call me back within the hour. Miraculously the techs recieved the part and he asked what time worked for me so that they could come to my home and fix it. I verified with my husband the time frame and agreed to 2pm with him. Getting off work early to be here on TIME before the agrred hour and its 4:27pm and no call, no show from the tech nor the store. Like how unprofessional and poor work ethic! Will not be doing business here again.
4:30pm- tech JUST now called me! His excuse, his schedule is filled a day in advance and I was not even scheduled. So then you tell me, how do you have my information and work order! Still goes on to say he agreed to "work me in"! Smh. Very...
   Read moreMy parents ( Elva Coleman and Saul Pacheco) have been your clients for many years, they’ve never had a problem but a few years ago my parents bought furniture for their living room (two sofas) they were paying them by finance but they’re done paying full price now, they payed insurance for five years, the sofas came out badly, it stared peeling off and it also came with a charger were you can charge your phones and stopped working. Before the pandemic my parents called and all you gave us were excuses. You refused to fix the sofas when they payed insurance for FIVE years! We kept calling and calling and you kept saying excuses. There was a point where you finally answered us and took a a piece of the sofa but when it came back it was just like we gave it to you, you did not fix a bit. My mother went back to the store and you guys told her that the peeling was “maybe” caused by cleaning with a “chemical” when she doesn’t use chemicals. Have in mind that she payed insurance for five years. All we trying to do is contact you since you never answer and you’re always giving us excuses... “maybe” is because y’all have a new manager. You guys do not want to do nothing about this situation and we still has insurance for five years that...
   Read moreI had a terrible experience with this store. We bought something and they never explained a one time fee, which bothered me because I don’t like to be blindsided by charges. Had they explained before buying, it would’ve been perfectly fine but nobody did. From the seller, to the girl who makes you sign the contract and they were about to close that day so she was in such a rush to get us out of there. I texted Mr Dwight who at first said he would try to help, days passed and I kept waiting, 5 days later he finally replied and made me speak with someone who said there was nothing he could do. Told him that and he said to give him some days. Somebody else left a bad review and then he pointed fingers at me, even after explaining that IT WAS NOT ME. And he had the nerves to tell me he would do nothing because he was “going to teach me a lesson”. Sad to see such a petty person providing customer service. Nevertheless, this is just my experience.
