My friend told me he had tried this restaurant recently and fell in love with it so Saturday, he along with my wife, her step sister and myself decided to dine there for lunch. We were greeted by a very friendly and accommodating waitress. We tried some of their famed Tamales which were well steamed and wrapped in corn husks. Extremely tasty and superior to the normal rolled tamale. We had the traditional Queso or cheese dip and Guacamole, each flavorful but not as unique as the other items. My wife had the Caldos sopas (soup) and it was enormous or grande (in Spanish). It had a hearty flavor with the consistency of split pea soup. My friend had the Tiayuda, a pleasant mix of chicken, black beans, Oaxaca cheese, cabbage, avocado and tomato and chorizo sausage. He loved it. My Negro Mole was superb. The balance of sweet and spicy with the blend of chocolate and various chillis was perfect. My wife's stepsister was less venturesome to try a regional food, and stuck to the Fajitas which she loved. Since three of us had been to Mexico, we wanted authentic and not traditional Tex-Mex. That is exactly what we got-- authentic regional Mexican fare. As hungry as we were and as delightful as the food tasted, we all hauled off boxes of leftovers for the next day. The atmosphere and environment is very colorful and unique. I have rated tons of restaurants on Yelp, Trip Advisor and Google and after traveling 36 countries and 48 States, can unequivocally rate this in my top five. If you want traditional Tex-Mex, they also serve that but the regional Oaxaca is its...

10/10!! Visited this wonderful place from Georgia while visiting family & was very impressed from the moment we walked in. The food is 100% authentic. The menu is nothing but real Oaxacan cuisine, i’ve never had the pleasure to eat at a place like this in the states. We went on a Sunday & I had the pleasure to try their blue corn tortillas & they were YUMMY! You can tell that they put a lot of work and dedication into their menu! I couldn’t decide on what to order so I order several things off their menu & it was all very good! It did not disappoint. Everything about this place from the wall art & the beautiful decor to their food and service, it all exceeded my expectations! Our server was very sweet and attentive, & really made the experience even more enjoyable! As a native of Oaxaca I would definitely recommend this...

My husband & I stopped by while on a road trip. Mexican food is our favourite and this place is the BEST Mexican restaurant we've ever been to, by far!! We were greeted so kindly by the staff. As we walked to our table, we noticed how beautiful & super clean this place was, even the bathrooms were spotless. Our waitress, Jezelle, was amazing! We each ordered our favourite dishes, Camarones a la Diabla (me) and Quesabirras (him). And, we each ordered a tamale. The food was outstanding!!! The tamales were wrapped in banana leaves (pictured) and that gave them a delicious flavour! We are definitely making this place our new go-to! I would have more pictures, but we were thoroughly enjoying the food & atmosphere ❤️
