Gateway Area Community Center — Local services in Clinton

I am so very impressed and absolutely relieved that Gateway Area Community Center went from a dream to a lovely reality. Gateway does so much for so many, with so very little. It's impressive! Everyone who works there and volunteers there are 150% committed to serving the community and the children, to providing them with support and to being there for them no matter what their individual needs are. It's a place filled with joy and encouragement because they celebrate each success. They are making a huge difference in many lives, especially in these hard times, so if you have a few hours or a few dollars...this IS the place to donate them ...you'll...

Since my 2 kids have been going there. They have learned to socialize and interact with other children. Their own behaviors have improved 100%. They are treated as a big family. I do not have to worry about my children being bullied or picked on. They are treated with care and kindness. I would like to say thank you to the coach and all the staff for the patience and kindness. Not to mention at the very least the meals given away the food pantry the patience and understanding and always having a ear to listen if you just to vent.

The Gateway Community Center is a wonderful place full of many different programs and opportunities. From the food pantry to the daily food boxes and community sharing tables, to holding the learning ceter, as well as the arcade and boxing rooms. They offer lessons, they offer free meals to people in the community every Tuesday. The safe haven room is available for those suicide survivors or people who feel like they really need a place to turn. The owners are wonderful kind people who would give the shirt off their backs to help...
