My family's place for cider donuts, kettle corn, and candy apples.
5 stars to 2 stars - I'll need to find another place for donuts. I'm not sure how long ago the above review happened, but as of today (10/11/24) - I'm beyond livid. About a week ago, I placed an order for 4 dozen cider donuts. I scheduled my order and advised I would pick the donuts up on the 11th by 2pm however, I was delayed by 2 hours. Upon arrival, I'm informed my donuts had been sold since I was late. They claim to have called and left a voicemail. A call I didn't receive on my end. The general manager, Maria Miller, had this sarcastic grin plastered on her face the entire time. She lacked any type of empathy as when I got there - I was tired and stressed out from running errands ahead of my event. She explained they tried to call before selling my order and have a policy that dictates unpaid orders can be sold off not picked up on time. When I placed my order NO SUCH POLICY WAS EXPLAINED TO ME. Maria had no problem telling me my order was gone, and all they could do was make another order tomorrow.
Since I have no other options, I placed an order for tomorrow and PAID IN ADVANCE. They also no longer give a paper receipt, so I opted for text.... in which Maria sent me someone else's receipt! It's not even my order...SMH. Tomorrow morning will start a bit different than I planned but what can you do.
Wegmans makes delicious cider donuts by the way! They cost a bit more but it's totally worth it! That's what I'll be doing from now on. I've been going to Miller's for years, but they clearly have zero appreciation or sensitivity around their customers and the way that life just isn't on our side sometimes. Kudos to Maria Miller for adding more stress and frustration to my day today, as well as to the start of an event I'm hosting. I purpose to show others the grace that you...

I even called in advanced but The girl on the phone at Miller's Farm Market did not tell the truth. I'm disabled, and when I went to get my fresh turkey that turned out to be a frozen store bought turkey, the church up the road from them was giving away free frozen turkeys and blocked everyone from getting to Miller's Farm Market and up the road altogether for MILES and it's a small dangerous road, Not safe for turning around or walking. (Which I only had 1 working leg and arm.) And before you could find All this out, you were stuck in miles of traffic. The stuff there is good, but They really should make other and safer arrangements with the church. Thanksgiving 2020 I should have just stayed in line on the road and got a free frozen turkey from the church, But No, I was lied to by the Miller's Farm Market store girl on the phone about their turkeys being fresh. And it was my family's wish to have a fresh turkey this year for Thanksgiving so I dangerously managed to get to the store only to find out it too was just a frozen turkey. I could have stayed home and got a much cheaper frozen turkey from my local store. I won't be back for next Thanksgiving or any after that. Their homemade stuff is good if you really want to pay extremely high prices. Oh, growing up we always loved getting their Donuts, but now they are hard, dry, and seemed to...
Β Β Β Read moreI have been visiting Miller Farms since a child. Currently, I spend perhaps $300 total per month; my front yard shows the evidence of my addiction. Today, I took my senior mother to grocery shop, as I was off today on Juneteenth and could drive her. As she grocery shopped, I told her I would simply look at the plants, not buy any. As I returned from our parked car after placing my newly bought plants in the backseat, I grabbed a old fashioned cherry soda. As my mom was paying for groceries, she requested 3 bags of ice, which I picked up and placed in her cart. When I placed it in the cart, it fell on the eggs that were on top of the purchased bag of groceries. It was an accident, but my fault and my accident broke 2 eggs. As in the past, when my mother discovered broken eggs in the past after coming to the counter, she simply assumed they could be switched out. As I began to run back for her to do so, the woman bagging stopped me and instructed me there was no replacing the eggs as they were already purchased. My mother not hearing didn't understand what was happening, and while telling her what had occurred, the counterwoman doubled down and said switching them would not be fair to other customers. My mother then understood; we both walked out and made no more of a fuss. We made the error, and it was clarified; we may have bought a Millers Bag this day to transport our groceries, but because of 2 eggs, we are no...
