Seaside Seafood — Restaurant in Clinton

So its extremely disheartening to have to write this 1 star review for my old go to crab spot.

Today I call Seaside to order my "Extra Large" Males for $79/Doz, only to arrive to pick up and realize this is not the same people who I had the pleasure of doing business with in years past.

The menu is scaled down, the fresh fish cooler was empty, the drink cooler was empty, no patrons inside waiting... all signs that I ignored. After I noticed there was a different lady who answered the phone, that was the point I should have started asking questions.

Now I understand what the lady at the counter meant when she told me upon my inquiry about the new staff, "Everyone swears the ownership has changed, but it hasn't."

Everyone notices the decrease in quality of the crabs that are being sold, that is probably why they are asking about the changes.

My "Extra Large" crabs were actually smalls!! 5.5 inches!! its no way anyone could look at the crabs I had and think they were anything more than smalls.

I wont be returning, and I cannot recommend any one else patronize this establishment. I will not be surprised when in the near future I ride by and this place is closed for good.

My suggestions: Change the name and change the phone number of this place, because it IS...

I stopped pass here last Friday for the first time after hearing great things about the food. The debit/credit machine wasn't working so I had to go to the ATM machine next door. After waiting for nearly a half hour for my food for an order for 4, I was at least happy to dive in once I got home. However, this happiness was taken away once my daughter started to eat her food and noticed numbers fries inside of her fish. She asked me if maybe it was a paper towel. I just advised her, along with everyone else to simply stop eating and to discard the food. By then the place was closed and it was not worth driving back or for them to not accept responsibility. They will simply have one less customer. Note to supporting customers: PEEL OPEN YOUR FOOD AND CHECK IT OUT...

I was in Maryland visiting my husband for the first time since he’s been stationed at Andrews Airforce base and I wanted some blue crabs. I googled places and after reviewing several spots I chose to GPS my way to seaside seafood and boy was I not disappointed. Those crabs were some of the best crabs I’ve ever had! Absolutely delicious and they were so reasonably priced. Kevin took my order and the lady there was so nice to me. I didn’t have anywhere to go to really eat them so she gave me a tray and let me sit right in the lobby and eat them. Thank you for the great hospitality. I got to meet a lot of locals while I sat and ate my food. This will definitely be a spot I frequent often on my visit to Maryland. Crabs...
