My wife and I golfed here for our 9-year anniversary. Pro Shop and facilities look brand new. The driving range is a bit small, so no drivers or you’ll be hitting houses for sure. Tee boxes, fairways, and green were all in excellent condition. There were a few sloppy fairways, but that’s to be expected with the amount of rain we’ve received recently. Overall, the course has a good mix of holes and a few extreme ones. The 14th was ridiculous, about a 250 foot drop from the tee box to the fairway. I hit a good shot, but had no clue where it landed so it was impossible to find. Great course, well-priced, and a helpful staff. What more could you ask for? I’ve included a picture of the 14th for reference.

The course is northeast of Santa Rosa and north of Calistoga. White tees ~ 6200yds. The greens are amazingly fast for a public course in winter. The course is cart path only at this time (Jan 2020). The most unusual hole is #15 par 4 with a highly elevated tee and great view of the area. I would go back and play it again especially in summer

Great experience. Top notch customer relations. The entire staff was incredible. Richard and Billy and I reminiscing about friends from hidden valley. The golf course was in beautiful shape especially the greens. This a must stop for a fun day. Shout to Darrell for helping Mitch get his 3 wood back. šŸ˜†

This Place is Haunted. I don't advise it. Spent too Long up There and I Hope I can return to myself. Scary Stuff. Apparitions. Strange Forms that Disappear. Light "Monsters." Tentacle Monster with fill in points--I called it a raccoon. Differing Forms. The guy that I was with saw a deer, I saw a German Shepherd. He also saw a "White Girl"--I saw a "Mexican Migrinta" Type. These Appearers bounce off others to try to get a look and way of being. They can turn door Knobs. Haunted lawnmower shining lights into the house. Weird across golf course "neighbor" shining bright flashlight in house. Moving shadows (man with hat), a teeth fetish(?)--the cat outside was doing it too, hidden-tech-spotlight-hoverers. Growler Wide "Men"(who literally growl), sharp hair forms potentially made by form, dark demon wing form, clear outline shapes (wet shoes), potentially Ghostbusters & Shining Things? Old lost articles of Laundry potentially appearing in rented tenants dryer(?)--I didn't take any. Didn't fit the size of the tenant, if it's even there. Echoing noises that I fear got into the disappearing creatures windchimes, but maybe not. Mysterious sightings of the moon. Too Hot Days, that make no sense. Oleander in the yard(s)--it's poisonous. Regardless, seen many on the golf course, they seem to like it. Some of the grass isn't green due to not enough sprinklers. Take care. Does anyone know what to do if...

This is a private community that has homes, equestrian stables, fishing and boating lake, two clubhouses, restaurants, pro-shop, and a multi-level golf course. The course winds through the housing projects and up hills, into small valleys, etc., and has a certain difficulty level that many enjoy. There are though the possibility of meeting up with a rattle snake or two, but that has become rare due to the buildup of the area.

I watched a Hole-in-One by a local woman, it was from the top of a hill, over a few houses, to a blind hole, best shot ever. Another great story was the day the golfer killed the rattle snake and bragged about it at the bar, clubhouse, only to take a few to the cart and pick up a very live snake.

I lived on the 18th for a year plus, and there is a small pond full of golf balls that did not make it over the pond from the tee.

In Middletown, a few miles distant there is an Indian Casino, and many good stores. At the road into HVLA there is a newer shopping center. There is a swimming pool, tennis court, and a picnic / camping area with baths and showers.

All in all, a good place to...
