The Marketplace — Local services in Cokato

I wasn't sure what to expect when I first came here, but it was beyond expectations. My husband and I had just moved into town and weren't sure if we would need to make the hike to Saint Cloud or Buffalo to do our grocery shopping (for more than produce, bread and milk). I was so pleasantly surprised at all the Marketplace had to offer! It had all the supplies of a normal grocery store including some more luxury items. With living here in cokato it sucks that we don’t really have another option too close because prices are so high. The only other thing is alot of the food we get and bring home we find out is expired either after we’re eating it or after it’s gone. Finally started checking at the store, but my husband came home with ice cream and opened it and it was completely freezer burnt, and the date was literally expired over 6 months ago. Yesterday was the second time in the past couple of weeks that I went to the Marketplace specifically for fruit. I always check fruit for mold at grocery stores. Yesterday (much like the first time I was there a couple wells ago), there were 0 trays of raspberries that had no mold on them. Disgusting.
