Food King — Local services in Colbert

Convenient to Colberts people. But man i go in and he tells me cash only. I need to buy with stamps. I told him i did not believe him that it wasnt working, but ill pay cash anyway. I bought 2 gallons milk and tea, two bags of chips, cheese dip and a lighter. First of all, when he rings it up he does not scan one single item he types in the prices. I didnt get a good feeling about that. Rings it up, it comes to nearly TWENTY FIVE DOLLARS! That is like 4 bucks per item. 4 dollars!!! For a bag of chips? For a lighter????? Im quite certain all of those are listed 2-3$ on the shelves!!! Didnt offer a receipt either, i shouldve asked but was too irritated to think straight. I will never spend my money here again. I hate to give bad reviews, but this place hasn't been clean in a long time. I just can't buy food in a place this dingy dirty. I do go in occasionally for beer but that's about it. The have started remodeling the outside, so hopefully the inside will see some improvements too. I would like to like this store as it is...
