This is a burger and wings hole-in-the-wall. Not a true diner. Hamburger steak is excellent. Grilled/sautéed onions and peppers and good brown gravy. Fried okra was excellent Fried pickles were really good. The chef salad is iceberg lettuce, shredded cheese, diced ham, half a boiled egg and bacos. Served in a bowl. It’s exactly what you’d expect. I had the 1,000 island. This was good. All parts cold and fresh. Burgers are good. Hand pattied, seasoned well and cooked on the flattop. Good crisp. Fresh fixings of lettuce, onion and tomato and a straight-from-the-package bun. A slice of cheese to make it a cheese burger. The fries were a miss. They were frozen, crinkle cut fries. They were hot and crispy but were not the best quality. The fries were mealy. Maybe they were the last of the package or old… Soft drinks are in a can. They have tea and water. The service was adequate. Almost felt like we were a bother coming in. The place did do a lot of To-go orders. The atmosphere is lacking. Plain dining room. Mismatched booth and tables with lots of wear. Wear from a different life. Wear from a different restaurant. The bathrooms haven’t been cleaned in months. The overall feel is a bit gloomy. It was also an overcast, rainy, gloomy day when we went. I recommend you give it a try. Get the hamburger steak, small salad and fried pickles. Get it to go and you’ll have a 5-star experience.

Prices have increased drastically, and service has decreased. This small side chef salad they charged 10 dollars for 10 dollars for a double cheeseburger . When I asked about the pricing and not being made aware of the cost, she was defensive saying, “ you didnt ask.” Then to top it off told me next time order a garden salad and literally rolled her eyes at me for thinking the price was unexpectedly higher to me. Just rude.. I have been going here since I was a kid and never experienced such rudeness as I did today. Definitely lost a long time customer.

Best cheeseburger I've ever had! I got the large single with everything (tomato, lettuce, pickle, onion, and mayo) for $4.99 and it was incredible! They use actual ground beef - not pre-shaped patties from a box. The fries are delicious, and the "cash only" dessert (I got butter pecan cake) was great. I'm glad I live and work in Coldwater, I can eat here anytime I want. I'll be back!

Ok, while this isn't a 3 Star Michelin restaurant, it's pretty damn good. It's slightly difficult to find but all you have to do is ask pretty much anyone in town. I got the bacon cheeseburger and fries which was super tasty, extremely fresh and obviously not a frozen burger patty. I ended up using a fork and eating it more like a hamburger steak. Fries were hot, fresh and cooked correctly. Yes the atmosphere is less than modern, but it's a diner. The counter sales lady was sweet, helpful and downright nice. Food was great and I will definitely stop in again if I'm passing by at lunch. Please support this local restaurant, they...
