Enable Art — Local services in College Place

Chloe is an amazing artist, photographer, and teacher. She's taken priceless family photos for us, couple photos, and close friends' engagement and wedding photos, and I never cease to be amazed by her gift and her ease with everyone she's working with (even in difficult situations). Her personal artwork is stunning from drawing to ink to digital to painting and full mural work. I've been to multiple art shows of hers and seen major mural work in several businesses. She has the ability to nail every tiny detail and also make the big picture flow seamlessly no matter what her subject. Her vision for color and style and delicate detail is incredible. Her art classes are also one of a kind. I was skeptical at my first painting class as I do not have her artistic gift at all, and yet through her step by step teaching process, she makes me not only feel capable but talented. She’s incredibly patient with her students of all ages and experience levels. I have a tendency to stress myself out as a perfectionist and someone with very little art experience, but she eases the tension, keeps me on track, and keeps it fun. I always leave with a canvas I’m shocked I was capable of painting. This is truly her gift. I couldn't recommend her...

Our daughter just finished a summer art camp at Enable Art. The facility and supplies provided (including snack) were great! I love that there are several cameras positioned around the studio...when working with kids you cannot be too careful. The teacher was excellent. He had great material to present, teach and coach. He was great with the kids. There is a nice comfortable sitting area for parents. I really appreciate this service for the kids in our community. We will definitely be back. The only downside (and this is no fault of the business) is that some kids just get dropped off by their parents and they do not have the attention span for a two hour class. Parents need to keep that in mind when deciding to leave their kiddos. The staff did great trying to redirect and keep these kids on task but it is not their responsibility to babysit and it interrupted learning for the other kids. Oh. My. Goodness... what a fabulous and fun art class!! I got to participate in a felting class for the first time and it was cabbage! Not only was the class fun and well facilitated (great job, Chloe!), the atmosphere was very relaxed and encouraging to everyone there.... and did I mention all the art supplies were included with admission cost? Brilliant idea and such an amazing benefit for all the students. The array of art mediums being taught and the projects that are available are just wonderful. This would be a great experience for anyone and such a wonderful gift to give yourself or anyone on your gift list. Make sure to check out the Gold Brush Membership - it's a great deal.
