EDIT: Shane reached out clarifying my statement regarding the 3-4 weeks turnout time and we agreed that my wording might be confusing/misleading. I wanted to clarify that their promised repair time (max 10 business days, accounting for COVID-19) is upheld without issues; their average shipping is apparently 3.5 days (as of Jan 2021). What I forgot to mention was my particular case was East-West shipment and occurred near Thanksgiving, causing additional external delays (outside of Shane's control) and ultimately made me console-less for ~20 days. --added 1 star because their willingness to reach out and be professional about concerns even when their service has been rendered. It also shows that Shane reads everything within a review. Amazing passion for his work and deserves more customer! I unknowingly broke the PSU connector during my attempt to replace an old thermal paste on my PS4. Days of searching and asking questions in relevant forums/boards led me to Shane.
Amazing quality control and work with my PS4 as he essentially fixed it. During the repair, he also replaced my thermal paste.
Price is slightly on the more pricey side (in my opinion) though considering the job he's done with my console, I find it WORTH every penny; thorough test, realistic promises, photos of "proof of fix", included thermal paste replacement, and warranties--not much to complain about.
My only MINOR "issue" is the somewhat inconsistent email responses. Sometimes they respond fast (and once they do, they respond very quickly) but other times, it might take several days before they respond back. Nevertheless, once you get in touch with them, their responses are top notch; they answered every question I had and definitely gives a feeling of assurance that your consoles are in great hands!
Repair timeline is definitely much longer than I originally expected, but this is a given due to pandemic. If things haven't improved in the future, just be prepared to temporarily part with your console for ~3-4 weeks...

And save it he did, on top of that his timeliness, price, and open communication between himself and his staff was way better than I could have even hoped and expected! His price and timeline quotes far and away exceeded every one I received from local repair shops. His technical skills and confidence completely blew them outta the water as well considering the local shops informed me that it might not even be salvageable after they had it on the table.
Bottom line, Iām very grateful to Shanefix and will without a doubt, send him any future work I may need without hesitation. I highly recommend anyone needing confident and professional console and tech repairs to at the very least give him a shot to analyze and fix your device at a fraction of the cost and time that others are offering in my opinion and experience.

I found their website easy to navigate and their pricing was very reasonable. While I am competent with soldering and electronics, this repair required more specialty items than I would be able to buy and save money. I purchased a box and packing material for shipping and sent my XBox on a Thursday. By Wednesday, I received an email stating they had my XBox and scheduled my repair for the following Tuesday. On Wednesday, I received a follow-up that my machine was successfully repaired that included a screen capture of my home screen. The repair cost included the shipping cost from their location to my house. They provided a tracking number and I received my XBox the following Saturday. I verified the fix and am extremely pleased with the results. I don't expect any further issues with my XBox but I know if I do, I will return to...
