If youâre considering this supposed âbrand newâ complex for your son or daughter, I strongly advise you to reconsider! Our experience has been nothing short of terrible since the day we moved our student in. The lack of communication and accountability from management is appalling.
Upon our first day, we were greeted with a myriad of issues. Broken ceiling fans, deep scratches on tile and cabinets, dirty floors, numerous spider webs on the walls, broken tiles in the shower, broken cabinets, dirty microwave plate, beer cans in cabinet and kitchen sink, the list goes on and on. Instead of this being a memorable moment in our child's first day of moving in it turned out to be a major clean up evening. We came into town to set the room up, but instead it turned out to be a major clean up. We returned to San Antonio that day and didn't make it home until 230am.
The most significant problem is that the doors with the electronic keypads to enter the sections leading to our apartments are malfunctioning. Consequently, the doors remain wide open, compromising security. Itâs clear that Global Student Housing, Asset Living, and McGough have prioritized other aspects over ensuring the safety of their residents.
Residents are starting to pile their trash bags at that entry point and it's starting to smell very bad. On top of that the rooms humidity reading in our child's room is between 80-85%, which is causing the room to be very uncomfortable and the AC unit is constantly running. This is going to cause a very high electric bill.
Iâve compiled a list of complaints and photos to support my claims if you 'd like more...

I deeply regret choosing Global College Station Apartments for my daughterâs housing. The experience has been nothing short of chaotic, disorganized, and deceitful. From the start, the application process was riddled with misinformation and poor communication, leaving us frustrated and scrambling for answers.
Despite paying and managing the housing initially without issues, we were blindsided by a sudden request for a guarantor, followed by misleading assurances from staff that corporate would resolve the issue. No follow-up ever happened, and attempts to reach out were met with silence or unhelpful responses.
Global College Station seems to thrive on deceptive advertising and false promises to lure students in. Their team members are either untrained or actively lying, making the entire process a stressful ordeal. I wouldnât recommend this place to anyoneâsave yourself the headache and choose a housing option...

Looking past the splotched paint, damaged walls from construction, and broken cabinets, the overall floor plan isnât too bad. Donât try asking for your utilities to be in good shape though. Our dishwasher has been broken for 6 weeks with little communication. The fire alarms trip anytime you use something as little as an air frier. Iâm surprised no one has crashed in the garage either; itâs designed so only one car can pass on the corners and you only see the other car maybe 15 feet out.
This apartment CAN be really good, it is just under lots of stress as the management is fairly new and...
