I made a special trip here because of the glowing reviews. I found the building open, no one at the desk and the museum closed for 7 months. It’s curious that a month ago someone left another glowing review, but the museum has been closed since June 2019 (it’s now October) only to (according to a sign posted inside the building) reopen on January 23, 2020. Eventually I found someone in the building who confirmed that the museum was closed, but she was aloof and unconcerned. Upon checking the website, admittedly there is a small, incidental statement that they will be closed until “January 16, 2020” but it is hidden in the midst of the description of how great the museum is.
