I've vistied other Adventist colleges and this is mostly the nicest dorm I've ever seen! They are two room types, either standard small rooms that make up most of the original Talge Hall with a common bathroom for each hall, or the suite rooms for upper classmen (or depending on availability). I stayed in both types in the 2 years I lived in the dorm before moving on to the campus's apartments. Both types feature built-in cabinets and closets as well as a mirror and sink, but most importantly a hotel-style AC/heater unit! My first year was in the standard rooms on the older wing with all the freshmen and it would sometimes get rowdy on that side. My room appeared to be one of the few rooms that was renovated a few years ago while the rest of the rooms have an appearance that dates back to the '60s or '70s when the college was called Southern Missionary College. Not to mention, I started working at the dorm in housekeeping and have been working there every semester since!
In my second year here, I lived in the suite rooms. Now those rooms were quite nice since they were a little more spacious and had a shower and toilet for every two rooms. These rooms made up most of the newer wing of the dorm, built in the early 2000s. These halls were also quieter and even feature kitchen/louge areas.

Also, the fire alarm has a tendency to go off unexpectedly, either for a once-a-semester midnight fire drill, or if someone burned something in one of the hall kitchens, or if there was an issue with moisture of some kind in the building. It's basically an average...
