I cannot say enough GOOD things about Collierville Car Stereo and the owner Jim. I had purchased online a new car stereo for my car from an online audio site. I had also purchased the harnesses to hook this stereo up without having to cut and splice any wires on my car and keep it all original.

I had trouble figuring out all the wires, harnesses and a relay package that was included, so I called and spoke to Jim at Collierville Car Stereo. Although I had already started working on removing and replacing my stereo, Jim told me he couldn’t do the job BUT would be glad to show and help me to do it myself. His hours are 6:00am to 3:00pm so I arranged to be there the next morning after work at 6:30am. Once I arrived, Jim came out to see what I had to install, what harnesses and relays were there and what I was working with. Jim then instructed me on what to connect, what to tape off and not use and also to throw away the relay harness since it was NOT needed. It took 5 minutes to show me what I had spent a couple of hours trying to figure out…lol

I asked Jim what I “owed him”, and he replied a “knuckle bump”. I am so happy I called Jim and will also be coming back to Collierville Car Stereo for any of my car audio needs. He is a super nice guy, super friendly and after 30 plus years of being in business he is extremely knowledgeable of audio equipment, installation and repair.. I first went here after a friend recommended them and man, these guys are absolutely awesome. I have since moved out of town, but I will continuously go back to them for any car stereo needs as it is made very evident that they really do want 100% customer satisfaction. They changed out my horrible sounding stock mustang for a system that I absolutely love, and at a fraction of the price of what most other stereo shops quoted me. They will also completely take care of you if you ever have any issues down the road, even if it is years after the install. If you enjoy fantastic customer service, great quality of products for a low price, and an install from experienced professionals that have been doing this for over 30 years, then this is the place. I'm glad everyone else has had such great experiences with this business. I called this morning to explain all I wanted to do was bypass the factory amp and power my door speakers in a '96 Land Cruiser. I was immediately dismissed on the phone. My business was refused before even looking at my vehicle. After doing my own research, a $4.25 harness made for older Toyotas (and available on Amazon) will do the trick. Crimp wires at harness, plug into stereo, unplug factory amp. Done. I also mentioned that my entire dashboard was out of my vehicle right now while I restore it. It's going to be a 5 minute job. They couldn't spend a "whole day" on a "custom" job...
